Any adventures that we release in this manner will be season agnostic (see the "Season 0" list in the Content Catalog).

DDAL Lost Tales of Myth Drannor: DDAL's "Secret" D&D Book For Gen Con 50

CapnZapp - No, you didn't come across that way at all. On the same token, my apologies if I came across snappish; not my intention. We're looking for awesome ways to incentive public play when we attend events, and Lost Tales happened to be our thing for 2017. As much as I'd love to say that I...

DDAL Lost Tales of Myth Drannor: DDAL's "Secret" D&D Book For Gen Con 50

Sorry you feel that way, Zapp. Our initial intention was to have it be a convention exclusive for a full year. Getting it released ahead of that window was a secondary goal and one that we continue to work towards. It'll get released when it's ready. We're not keen on sending a print product...

DDAL Lost Tales of Myth Drannor: DDAL's "Secret" D&D Book For Gen Con 50

We've had a number of other projects take priority over getting this sent to dmsguild. I do not have an ETA on it at this time. We ARE planning on getting it released, but it's not our core focus at the moment.

Adventurers League celebrates the winter holidays

The survey questions are the first in a series, really. The underlying/ core elements that I'm getting at with each of them may not be immediately apparent, but they needed to be more engaging than the standard "On a scale of 1 to 5, how much to you like 'X'". I'll be posting a review of the...

Con Created Content (CCC) - Are they any good?

It all comes down to your preferences, really. The CCC creator teams have nearly-full control over the content and we (the admin team) only provide them some framework. Many of the adventures are pretty solid, though a few are fairly experimental in execution. Hit dmsguild and look at reviews...

    Cleric Domains in AL

NeverLucky - I'll add this to my seasonal "review of the Guides" notes, thanks. The inclusion of the life domain for all clerics was a conscious choice as well as a mechanical one. Even the darkest deities grant the ability to heal their followers. :)

DDAL Lost Tales of Myth Drannor: DDAL's "Secret" D&D Book For Gen Con 50

The books come with an admin's attendance. I don't think that NYCC invited any of the admins, so the chance of seeing books there is exceedingly low. There's a chance that an attendee might have one from a previous event, though.

DDAL Lost Tales of Myth Drannor: DDAL's "Secret" D&D Book For Gen Con 50

GrandCon in Grand Rapids, Michigan is this weekend and will have a few copies. U-Con in Ann Arbor, Michigan is in November and will have a few copies. These locations, as with any others, will not have many copies to distribute. Our intention is to reward DMs first but the admin team is free to...

    Surrogates are now available

Revising the above: All that is currently available is the Death Curse primer. The season will receive its full start when the book releases, which has not happened yet. More goodies are in the works, but as we had s7 premiere content at Gen Con we needed to push the Death Curse data out ahead...

DDAL Lost Tales of Myth Drannor: DDAL's "Secret" D&D Book For Gen Con 50

Hey! So, I have -some- good news for you: http://queencityconquest.com/ September 8th, 9th, and 10th... in Buffalo! It's a solid group of folks. I've attended as a guest, and this year other AL people will be in attendance (Robert Adducci for sure, but I won't be). I know that copies will be...

    GenCon 50 AL review

Thanks for the insight, Pauper. I DM'd a group through the Hulburg tier 3 DDXP track at the show... appreciate your thoughts on it and the event!

DDAL Lost Tales of Myth Drannor: DDAL's "Secret" D&D Book For Gen Con 50

Thanks to everyone that was super excited to get their copy (even if a couple of you stalked me around the convention, waiting until I put on the Beholder Hat; it was a bit weird haha)! The rest of the admin team and I have been pleasantly surprised by the lack of entries on eBay and Amazon -...

GenCon getting some love after all?

Hey - look either of us up when we're on the floor. We're probably gonna be running around like we're on fire (hopefully we're not), but we always have time to say hi :)

DDAL Lost Tales of Myth Drannor: DDAL's "Secret" D&D Book For Gen Con 50

There have been a couple canon questions here: it is a Dungeons & Dragons product, not just an "Adventurers League" product. This means that it is legal for AL play, and the contents of this product are just as canon as the other products that have been published (SKT, ToA, and the rest). There...

The Top 20 Adventurers League Adventures

Thanks for the support - I've been having a blast writing some crazy things for people... super thrilled that people are enjoying them :)

    Winter Fantasy Roll Call

Largely depends on the adventure. For every 2 characters that have 1 of those feats, add "+1 character" to the encounter math. That said, if the adventure does not really use a lot of melee and 4 characters have GWF feats... I wouldn't be worried about it.

    Winter Fantasy Roll Call

For my AO tables, I tried to make some encounter adjustment stuff clear. Especially at high levels, encounters can go sideways for both players and the DM very quickly, and the admins have been taking a lot of feedback and input on this over the last couple months. Personally, I generally keep...
