For sure! I‘m intrigued either way.

With all of the undead themed minis coming out over the next few months, I’d place my bets on a Ravenloft setting book of some form as well.

Looks like I have a number of new (to me) podcasts to check out. :)

This is a nice little run-down, would be great to see these regularly.

PDFs area great in many ways. I find that if they're for longer works I'd get a hard copy as well. I stare too long at computer screens all day, often pouring through several hundred page technical PDFs *groan* heh heh.

Not that I would hack up my book, just being cheeky. There's books I've had 30+ years, read multiple times with nary a spine-crack (I'm a little anal that way.)

Yep, the way to go for sure. :) Our GM had the PDFs before we had the books, so he was able to get decent maps printed out before-hand.

As vpuigdoller said, yep, it comes with Crash On Volturnus. That module, the basic and expanded rules, and if you feel like cutting up the book there are also counters and a few colour maps.

I'm involved in a Star Frontiers campaign right now. We bought four of the hardcovers and the quality is a lot better than I feared it would be. The pages aren't glossy but the paper is nice and thick and will hold up against the beer I will end up dripping into it at some point. The best part...

My campaigns, both as a DM and player, going back many years have primarily been in the FTA era. The Marklands has always been a pretty key resource. I've wondered many times though, for my needs, would I really need something new published? It's pretty easy to pull out an old book, grab a few...

Yelling or a light flogging, either would work I'm sure haha.

All right, thanks for the quick review. I think I'll nab the GMs deck and critical fails for sure, will mull the players deck over. I know my players will get love having the deck as part of the game, which is all I could ask for.

It's not a bad book, but not a must read by any means.

I had a "friend" like that who destroyed my Gord the Rogue novels. :(

How is this deck overall? I missed out on the Kickstarter, but see they're now selling it through their web site. Do you have the Critical Fail and "Player's" critical hits deck as well? If so, how do they rate in your opinion?
