WotC WotC Adds 'Partnered Content' to DnDBeyond--Starting With Critical Role's Tal’dorei Campaign Setting

Bradshaw is a new one - I'll have to add that to my "nearly my name" list! (I get a lot of Bradley and "Bradford Adams" for whatever reason). 😏 I (naturally) love what you said there about 'done right' - we actually pushed the Early Access date back for 5e NEXUS because we had a couple of...

D&D 5E Online RPG Tools Platform Demiplane Announces '5E Nexus'

Well, we're not an IT company, but I agree we're at a point where the site should be updated more frequently - which is why I asked the team to get it up-to-date now. We've been more focused on getting the actual toolset development done than updating the website while we're in Early Access...

D&D 5E Online RPG Tools Platform Demiplane Announces '5E Nexus'

I'm not sure what you mean by this...there is a main menu item on Demiplane.com called "What's New" that details multiple updates in the last several months. https://www.demiplane.com/changelog And in Early Access, the Digital Reader and Game Compendium (listings / primers) work pretty well in...

Adam Bradford, one of the founders of DnDBeyond, comments to Wargammer

Much appreciated - my ire has been reserved for the (literal) top-level leadership at both companies.

Adam Bradford, one of the founders of DnDBeyond, comments to Wargammer

Setting the record straight - false statement here that I would like to refute. I didn't see a dime from Wizard of the Coast's acquisition of D&D Beyond. I left well before the sale, and only after a nightmare of a year's worth of fighting to get WotC to see the light on a plethora of things...

WotC Hasbro Bets Big on D&D

I didn't watch or hear the fireside chat, but I will certainly say this thread has been an interesting read. I almost want to apologize to D&D fans out there since several of the words, concepts, and themes we are seeing emerge in recent months were markers of a vision I pushed pretty hard to...

Free League is Demiplane’s Latest Nexus

While I have been around the block enough to know that software development never happens at the pace that fans would like for it to, I agree with the sentiment and that frustration is something I felt firsthand (but couldn't do anything to improve due to a variety of factors). I joined...

Free League is Demiplane’s Latest Nexus

"Viable" is a relative threshold, and it's always going to be lower for a small company. We don't have to see D&D numbers to be very happy with the results. And personally, I would much rather be associated with an open playground than a walled garden, so we're making something we believe in...

Free League is Demiplane’s Latest Nexus

Speaking as a creator of this digital support, I could not agree more - physical products will always play a role in this hobby. We are never trying to supplant that...our goal is to supplement and enhance the experience for those that find digital tools useful.

Free League is Demiplane’s Latest Nexus

Starting with a way to find games and a space to connect and play was the essential groundwork for what we had planned for these digital toolsets. One regret from my former gig was not having a place to "put" the tools we were creating, so we're doing that differently at Demiplane. And more to...

Pathfinder 2E Pathfinder Nexus is the Official Toolset for PF2E

Yes, that is correct. We are working with Paizo on the potential of subscription integration. More details to come!

Pathfinder 2E Pathfinder Nexus is the Official Toolset for PF2E

Yes - Paizo Connect works with content pre-orders on Pathfinder Nexus. If you bought the book already through Paizo.com, you receive a 33%/$10 discount. If you don't own the PDF on Paizo.com, then pre-ordering on Nexus is full price, but it unlocks the PDF through Paizo.com.

Pathfinder 2E Pathfinder Nexus is the Official Toolset for PF2E

I'll take this one and sorry for you getting pulled into it @darjr - that was a label applied by our PR consultant based on previous comments from outlets within the industry regarding the approach we're taking to combining matchmaking, video and voice, and now digital tools in one place. So...

Pathfinder 2E Pathfinder Nexus is the Official Toolset for PF2E

Wouldn't that be great? :sneaky: We believe that there are some really great games and third-party publishers outside of D&D that deserve nice things.

The things you list in the "future tools" is where things will really come together for Pathfinder Nexus. Today was an announcement, not a launch. The value of the toolset will (hopefully) be clear once we get to launch early next year. Thanks!

D&D General DDB's Adam Bradford went to Demiplane

We currently give Game Masters and groups the ability to host paid games, and players can tip Game Masters at the end of a session if they desire to. We'll share more about future plans once we get there. 😏
