I felt, this maybe deserves it's own thread, since it might or might not be related to the new layout of the front page: After brief intervention from @darjr, unfortunately page load speeds are quite bad again. A fresh reload of the page for this "Meta" section of the forum takes 1.6 minutes...

Not sure if that counts as a bug or a feature request, but it would be nice if the choice for stopping the rotation of the articles in the header block would be remembered across sessions (not a big fan of moving things on web pages). Alternatively, it would be nice if the read progress bar...
