Volo's got Neogi, Mordenkainen's got Giff, it's nice to see several Spelljammer races making appearances. I can only hope the compendium gets Giant Space Hamsters and says they can be familiars.

These hints are similar to the old Greyhawk Star Cairns, Crypt of Lyzandred the Mad, Doomgrinder trilogy but I don't know how that would translate into FR beyond maybe the Undermountain since Lyzandred and the Blackcloak had similar "testing" motives.
