Trying to justify the cost in an area where I have no idea if there even are other gamers, not to mention whether or not they'll search meetup by the name of the small town... :(

Real problem is that I'm just close enough to a big city that all of the meetups and such happen there (conventions and Craigslist, too). But if I go to one, no one wants to go "so far" to my place. Library is definitely a good idea, since there's one really close to me. Keep the ideas coming...

Is there a tool (or product) that will allow you to print cards for the monsters you choose? Or one that includes cards for all the monsters from the MM would work, too.

I know someone who was working on this a few years ago. Don't know the current status on it.

Might there be a way to color-code the sources to show which are WotC official books, which are UA or similar, and which are produced by other companies (like FEF)? Like by the background color on their header cells? Would make it easier to decide which to filter. :)

I'm wondering if there's a list online of all of the monsters from all of the books. Meaning the PHB, DMG, MM, Starter Box, adventure paths, etc, etc. I'm hoping not for all of the stats, but just the book and page number where to find them. Anyone know if this exists? My google-fu is failing...
