How does it work actually? My friend is adjacent to an enemy and I am in flanking position, but do I have to be adjacent liek a pair of rogues or can I be say, 5 squares away?

Say I have a ranger and uses bow and arrows. Do I have to keep track of every arrow I fire and if I run out, am I unable to use my powers then? I know realistically, I can't fire an empty bow but the powers doesnt seem to have any requirements for arrows. Or did I miss something. And how about...

So, as long as someone has the Ritual Caster feat and appropriate skills, you could cast any of the rituals on the list as long as it's same or below your level? so a fighter with that feat and religion skill could cast a raise dead ritual?

If someone does some power that heals me and makes me use a healing surge, do I actually subtract one from my daily allocation? And if I ran out of healing surges for that day, nobody can heal me anymore, even with a potion?

hi guys, was wondering what game system are available to run a sword and sorcery genre game. Most fantasy rpgs cater to high fantasy with demihumans and all. I know there is d20 conan, but I am trying to stay away from that system.

How many are there exactly? I googled and found these: Sword and Wizardry, Spellcarft and Sorcery, Spellcraft and Swordplay.. Anyone knows what are the difference and how they differ from the actual OD&D itself?
