    D&D 5E Loremaster Wizard's Arcane Tradition

Hey guys, thank you for your answers! (And sorry to take so long to comment, but I have internet issues to acces EnWorld from here. Don't ask me why, 'cause I don't know). So, to be true the version presented before is outdated. I heard your past comments, changed some things and came with...

D&D 5E [GUIDE] My Word Is My Sword: The Paladin Guide

First of all, thank you for your guides, Gladius Legis. I really appreciate them. So, I'm planning a Sorcadin (Paladin (Conquest) 7/Sorcerer (Divine Soul) 13). Mostly, he'll be a tank and support for the party. Do you (and others, of course) think that Martial Adept for Menacing Attack is...

    D&D 5E Loremaster Wizard's Arcane Tradition

First of all, thank you very much for your feedback. Regarding some issues raised, I like to add my own comments: It's something to test. In my experience, the most chosen Concentration-tag spells from 1st-2nd level Wizard's list range are: Blur, Fog Cloud, Hold Person, Invisibility, Magic...

    D&D 5E Loremaster Wizard's Arcane Tradition

So as WotC leaved the Loremaster out of the XGtE and I'm fond of the concept, I did my own shot at this Arcane Tradition. What I have done so far: 2nd level feature Arcane Savant Your investigations allows you to go deeper in the arcana knowledge than other wizards. Beginning at 2nd level, each...

D&D 5E Paladin: Why Are They Often Considered Highly Powerful?

To me the Paladin isn't overpowered. It is powerful, for sure. But I think this came from the class design approach -- that, imho, is the best designed class in the PHB.

    D&D 5E Xanathar's and Counterspell

So, Jeremy Crawford clarified some intentions about Identifying spells and Counterspell on his Twitter: From here

D&D 5E Counterspell - Do I know my foes' spell before I counter?

I think telling your players which spell is being cast is the way to go. If you feel that too much soft, you can limit this "knowledge" to spells known/prepared/wrote in their spellbooks.

[GUIDE] Born to be Wild, a sorcerer guide.

Aside metamagic, don't you envision nothing more? (This is only a question, not an argument or judgment or something biased, only a question).

[GUIDE] Born to be Wild, a sorcerer guide.

My great grudge against the Sorcerer is... why not trying a Wizard? That is, from a mechanical point of view, what is the Sorcerer selling point vs Wizard? In time, good work. I like your objective writing style.

    Ritualist [Wizard School]

I think this is a good idea. Either for level 6 or 10. And I think this is a good question.

[PEACH] Zombie as a race character option

So I get to rid "Undead" too, because without "Unnatural Vitality" the Zombie can't regain HPs through healing spells. And I have to deal with long rest yet. Perhaps something like the "Living Construct" feature from Warforged (Eberron UA). Copied below for your convenience:

[PEACH] Zombie as a race character option

Disclaimer: I'd an idea for a zombie character. Unfortunately, the DnD 5e current rules don't support this concept very well (even the Revenant from Gothic Heroes UA imho). So I decided to design my own. What I've done so far Zombie playable race Ability Score Increase. Your Constitution score...

D&D 5E On Saving Throws (a Monster Manual Analysis)

I think this would be very welcomed. Even one (like CoS) or more modular yet, like the Yawning Portal. Anyways, great job Erechel

Unearthed Arcana Unearthed Arcana: Get Better At Skills With These Feats

Pardon my ignorance, but how these "If you are already proficient in the skill, you add double your proficiency bonus to checks you make with it"-feats interacts with Rogue's Expertise in the same skill? Expertise (Stealth)+Stealthy feat for example. Do you sum all the benefits?

Unearthed Arcana Unearthed Arcana: Starter Spells; Plus UA Returning To Monthly & Sage Advice Returning

I know. This is why I asked about his influence. If we can glimpse something new or this fact is just credits for a previous work. Maybe all those "villainous" material from past UAs are under influence of the Shadow of the Demon Lord & Fiendish Codex II: Tyrants of Nine Hells author?

Unearthed Arcana Unearthed Arcana: Starter Spells; Plus UA Returning To Monthly & Sage Advice Returning

Robert J. Schwalb is stated as one of the authors of this UA (something unusual given that most time the UA articles are under Crawford and Mearls names). Anyone can identify his influence?

    D&D 5E *New Player* Paladin(Ancient)/Warlock(Archfey) Tank/Smite Battery 5e

Mainline Warlock in general (I was thinking about the Warlock vs. Paladin). Regarding your idea (Lock12/Pally 8), I think that 8 levels in Paladin won't give you as many benefits than Pally 7/FeyLock 13. Yes, you'll miss a feat/ASI. OTOH, you'll have magic resistance (Ancient's oath 7th level...

    D&D 5E *New Player* Paladin(Ancient)/Warlock(Archfey) Tank/Smite Battery 5e

I'll go for Pally 6 for sure. That magical resistence aura it's too good to pass. After that, it's up to you: either levelling Pally or Warlock is fine -- personally I'll go for Feylock because it gives more slots to burn with Smites and access to powerful Magic level earlier (with Pally...

Unearthed Arcana Unearthed Arcana: Wizards & Warlocks -- Hexblades, Raven Queens, and Lore Mastery!

Elemental Adept feat is out there yet. Sure not too appealing like Spell Secrets (you have to choose only one elemental damage type) but the feeling is there. But I understand your concern, feats are optional rules after all. Regarding the Lore Mastery Arcane Tradition. It seems we have a...
