The problem is, RPG's are still fairly new, so they mostly fail the "still enjoy it many years after it was first published" test.

So I'm moving (again), but my friends and I want to keep playing our 5E game online. Can anyone compare and contrast the online options? So far, the official ones I've found are Fantasy Grounds and Roll20. They've made characters in DNDBeyond, and I'd like to play Tales of the Yawning Portal...

How well does Fantasy Grounds work? I've seen it, but they do a really poor job on their website of selling it, and the demo is clunky as hell. How detailed can the characters be (i.e. does their character builder cover everything DNDBeyond does)? Do the published adventures use Fog of War, or...

Thanks! I'd appreciate it. I've seen some YouTube videos (including one strange, live-action one), but I'm having trouble integrating it with Rifts. Character creation is also pretty hard, since the Savage Rifts rules lean heavily on prior Savage Worlds expertise.

Anyone have any idea how to actually BUY any of the Swedish games? Supposedly, the pdf for Coriolis is out, but I'll be darned if I can find a link for a store (rather than just the Kickstarter, which I missed).

What part? The OGL doesn't cover video games, that Pathfinder is OGL, or that a video version can't use the PFRPG rules?

They couldn't even get a Virtual Table Top up and running, but somehow they're going to save Pathfinder Online?

The only vote that seemed to "stick" was for Fan Favourite Publisher. I voted for that, and it said "vote already recorded from this IP address." All the other categories, though, didn't. I went back into them and there weren't ANY votes listed. Is that how it's supposed to work?

If that's the one from the Kickstarter, it's a complete mess. Like a game design doc from the 80's got dumped into a book, with no editor, and no page limit. A mess of unconnected systems, almost no way to find anything, and useless in actual play. I'd much rather go with the Mongoose edition...
