Ordered my print on demand copy last week and received it this morning. I really like it.

The roper killed two members of the party when I ran the game and the final fight was extremely close to a TPK. Wow, that was a year ago. Time flies.

The premium version of the book is on really thick paper. The standard edition is nice enough but having seen photos of the other one I am envious.

But the physical books won't be available to everyone until 2024.

I'd give that a big thumbs up.

I have enjoyed running quite a few Arcane Library adventures. We had great fun with the Bundle of Horror series.

Not so long ago I was looking forward to buying this but for some reason I seem to have decided to spend my Q1 book budget on Pathfinder books instead. I wonder what changed my mind.

It does clearly state above "Adventure has been rebalanced to be easier for a new Dungeon Master to run and a better play experience." so it is not as if this is the original version that was published as separate books.

It would be nice if they put up something like the old 2e Catacomb Guide for new DMs to reference. The last two starter sets and the essentials kit have been very light on DM advice. Yes there's a video to go alongside the latest set but it is only about four and a half minutes long...

I had a chance to chat with a reenactor not so long ago and he talked to us about the use of the longbow. He had obviously had a lot of practice as he showed us how to sting the bow and could do it in just a few seconds - it took a lot less time than I had expected.

I've bought myself the PHB and MM reprints and they are nicely done. The embossed covers are particularly nice. 2e is the edition I have played the most and it's great to see it on sale again.

I love my original style 2e PHB but my wife has the black border version. I can never find what I want in her copy and it never opens up at the right pages. Hers is, however, in considerably better condition. Buying a premium copy of the black border version would feel like losing a very long...
