    D&D 4E 4e game suggestion request

I think the DMG2 section on inherent bonuses might help you. Unfortunately, I am away from my books and can't give you a page number.

    New adventure path from ENP

Something like Kingmaker would get my vote for an AP... I'd also love some Dark Sun modules.

    Crash Course in 4th ed.

Bear in mind that Encounters where designed with new players in mind. As such, they are mostly meant to be more interesting rather then extremely dangerous, and a DM can scale them up for experienced players. There are reports of TPKs from Encounter Session 1 & 2, and PC deaths in general.

Creature Competition: Encounters--Everybody loves a bracket tournament

I knew most of the names, but I never heard of Warduke before.... where is he from?

Did anyone get a chance to check out D&D Encounters?

There is a Monk, Psion, Paladin, Warlock, Ranger, and Paladin pregen. But you can bring your own. I brought a bard focusing on party support, but I forgot to use my virtue of valor the whole night. :erm:

What 4e Fluff do you Like?

I really like the Primal Power Source, and the fluff regarding the spirits of creation being a balance and shield between the gods and primoridials. Druids always bothered me, being Divine but worshiping.... well, it was never really clear if it was nature gods, nature itself, or something else...

Did anyone get a chance to check out D&D Encounters?

Perhaps are DM missed that information (he was new as well). We had no checks on the bridge, and sewer pipe appeared to be 20 feet down as well. You are correct that an eladrin could have teleported, but we didn't have on in the party. A windsoul genasi could have flown, as well, but we didn't...

Did anyone get a chance to check out D&D Encounters?

Yes, it came with a digital camera, and a 25$ Pizza Hut gift card. Pizza for all. My game was 5 newbies (3.5 players), myself, and a DM. It was 1 encounter plus RP, and it took about 2.5 hours... mostly because the new players where learning as they went. Still, a good time was had by all...

    Dead Rising Encounter too tough

Ah, guilt! *evil laugh* I hope it can be fixed, or at least all made aware of it.

    Dead Rising Encounter too tough

And, I mentioned frustration earlier. I want to be clear that wasn't at the DM, I think he handled it well. And so far WOTBS has been a blast, one of the most immersive games I've been in. But things like this should be errata'd.

    Dead Rising Encounter too tough

I strongly suggest you do. That's a lot of difference in damage at this level.

    Dead Rising Encounter too tough

As one of the players, I have to disagree with that. It merely illustrated why encounters PCs are supposed to run from are a problem. There was no fear, merely frustration. When an At Will attack can take out 1/3 the health of the leader, and has an ongoing damage component, tactical retreat...
