D&D General Barrowmaze, Stonehell, Arden Vul, Rappan Athuk and other Megadungeons

Castle Xyntillan should get a mention, I’d recommend it over any of the four listed in the original post. Simple, easy-to-run megadungeon, very well written.

    D&D 5E Challenging High-Level 5e Characters

Some good advice already mentioned. A tried and true tactic that proves effective at any level is blinding the party with darkness (or maddening darkness) and pitting them against opponents who can see through that darkness (anything with blindsight, tremorsense, devil’s sight, etc.). A group of...

    D&D 5E 5e Sandbox Adventures

Not a WotC product, but I’d recommend Goodman Games’ Isle of Dread 5e. I also like ToA and PotA, but Isle of Dread is still a much better sandbox campaign.

D&D 5E Greyhawk: Player Options for a Campaign Setting

I don’t totally disagree, but a player could take the Drizz’t route for a SB character idea. Drow are every bit as evil as the SB, maybe worse. Just sayin. Like most player option material, not all of GG’s hit the mark for me, but there are still some very good ideas that are thematic with the...

D&D 5E Greyhawk: Player Options for a Campaign Setting

Apologies if this has appeared earlier, but I’m surprised no one has mentioned Greyhawk Grognard’s work on this exact topic. https://www.greyhawkgrognard.com/2020/02/26/greyhawk-player-options-for-5e/

D&D General Miniatures shouldn't be edition-dependent (a Fire Giant size rant)

Reaper has an excellent selection of fire giants, I own most of these and they are scaled for Large size. Just be careful which ones you select as they do offer Huge size for some of them now.

    D&D General What's your favorite beer'n'pretzles dungeon?

My first recommendation is Lost Caverns of Tsojcanth, but I’m gonna assume you’ve already played it. So my next suggestion is Castle Xyntillan, which you can find here. Very easy to use and very fun 👍 Edit: Also, pretty much anything from The Arcane Library is quick and easy to run.

    D&D 5E Defeat Orcus

That’s what I was thinking. There are some other truly awful combos - a mummy lord’s Channel Negative Energy legendary action and Orcus’s Creeping Death legendary action have great synergy potential. Or just summon a swarm of thirty shadows.

D&D General Successful Epic Adventure Stories

We had some pretty awesome epic moments when I ran Age of Worms with 3.5/PF rules. The boss fight with Dragotha took two 7-hour sessions to complete. While that might sound like it was a slog, it was anything but. Hugely entertaining battle that goes down as probably the best boss fight we’ve...

    D&D 5E Greyhawk Sub-Classes

I second this. GG has done a remarkable job compiling/converting a lot of GH stuff for playable use.

D&D 5E Favorite things in the playtest that never made it

I can’t remember which packet it was in, but the wand of enemy detection that gave advantage on your initiative if using it when combat occurs. It was a useful mechanical idea for an otherwise ho-hum magic item and I still use it like that.

D&D General Recommendation for 1st level adventure?

T1 Village of Hommlet is my recommendation, unless humans are also on your humanoid hit list. I also second L1 The Secret of Bone Hill.

D&D 5E High Level Adventure Recommendations

Tomb of Horrors from TFtYP is for 14th level, and likely available on FG.

    D&D 5E DM Guild Recommendations

For DMs, I highly recommend Monster Manual Expanded I and II. A fantastic resource and great way to get more mileage out of old monsters.

OD&D DMs Guild Treasures: 5 BECMI Modules That Deserve the Big Book Treatment

As much as I’d love to see Goodman Games redo this and expand on it, I don’t see it happening since it has already been revisited in Tomb of Annihilation.

D&D 5E Best On Screen Representation: Barbarian

Like to see Blackwolf from Fire and Ice (Ralph Bakshi flick...anyone..?) on this otherwise great list.

    D&D 5E List the Third-Party 5th Edition Campaign Settings

Does Journey To Ragnarok qualify? An adventure and setting.

D&D General What are the major Greyhawk battles

    D&D General Definitive Greyhawk Adventure

If I had to choose a single definitive GH module (and not a series of modules) my vote would be Lost Caverns of Tsojcanth. Tons of classic GH lore, awesome expanded wilderness, and a superb dungeon crawl. I would've chosen Vault of the Drow, but I kinda consider the underdark separate (even...

D&D 5E Report and advice after our first session in Ghosts of Saltmarsh

I don't think sprinkling in a few haunted house tropes to play on the PCs' expectations disrupts the plot. As elfctusher mentioned, they could be explained by a weathervane, etc. Or not at all...not everything needs an explanation when the DM is trying to create a certain atmosphere. While I...
