that explains a lot. :D

That sure does. :)

I'll just list 'em as CR 25-30 for now. Here's what I'll send...

I'd like to propose an article called "Lords of Chaos", which would cover the slaad lords.
The article would begin with an overview of the slaad lords and their shared traits, and cover their role among the slaadi and the plane of Limbo. All possess slaad traits, spell-like abilities, and their own array of special abilities.

It would include the following creatures:

Chourst, Slaad Lord of Randomness (Outsider, CR 25-30)
A gangly, 20 foot tall slaad with dry chalk-white skin. His abilities include corporeal instability and an aura of pure chaos.

Rennbuu, Slaad Lord of Colors (Outsider, CR 25-30)
Rennbuu is a flamboyant, stylish slaad lord who appears as a gaunt, 12 foot tall slaad with skin of glowing, swirling, radiant hues. Rennbuu sports an unusual long mane of stark white hair, and is usually clad in robes of scintillating colors. He can change the colors of any creature or object, even changing slaad or chromatic dragons to different types.

Ssendam- Slaad Lord of the Insane (Outsider, CR 25-30)
A golden amoeba with a human-sized brain in the center. On occasion he will adopt a humanoid form and enter the Material plane. When in Limbo, he assumes the form of a great golden slaad. Ssendam has the amorphous trait and an energy drain attack.

Ygorl, Slaad Lord of Entropy (Outsider, CR 25-30)
Ygorl always appears as a skeletal, black, bat-winged humanoid standing about 12 feet tall. He wields a huge scythe in his hands with various runes inscribed on the blade. Ygorl has a death attack and can control undead. Additionally, he has a dragon mount.

Changed it to "His abilities include the ability to reduce a creature into an amorphous mass, and a continual aura of wild magic."

so, shade m'man... i assume you've sent in the archomental and slaad lord queries...

were you going to send in any more in the near future?

Yep, I sent 'em on the 16th.

As for others, I'll have to troll back through this thread and recall what I'd said I was gonna do (other than the fiends). :heh:

I decided to save you the trouble. ;) there was the rilmani of course that you wanted to give another try, and the demons and yugoloths which you decided to save for another time. If you wanted to take on a couple of additional themes, just let me know.

Yes, the fiends are hold for reasons I cannot disclose. I'm still looking forward to submitting 'em more than any other articles, though.

I'll pitch the rilmani again today. I was awaiting responses to my earlier post on 'em, but none came. I don't like its chances. :(

As for others, I'd like to pitch the remaining beholderkin, but should probably hold off 'til Codex of the Lords of Anathematic Madness comes out, so as to avoid duplication.

Anyway, don't we have a fey article to get crackin' on? ;)

I don’t know what else to tell you about those fellows.

don’t hold off – it worked for the illithid article. ;) and another idea, should we pitch a desert monsters article to accompany Sandstorm?

I was waiting for some kind of official approval before moving on to the next thing. And besides, I need some time to finish up what I’m doing with MG: Forests – at least another week or two.
