[D&D 3.5/Eberron] Forgotten Forge [Full]

Thanks, Ashy, that certainly put a smile on my face :) And thanks for the support. We had only been together for a couple of months, and I thought it was going well when she suddenly dropped the bomb that she didn't feel the same way about me any longer. I tell you, that was quite a knock-out blow... It was my first real relationship (and I'm 23... That doesn't exactly make it sound any better) with a woman. At least it has given me a good reason to party today with one of my friends ;)

And now back to some serious adventuring! :)

Well, I hope the partying's gone well. :)

Now, for a bit of business. One, the party's gained enough XP to put them each at 1501 xp (or half-way between 2nd and 3rd level). Please level your characters up as is appropriate, update your character sheets in the RG thread, and post the changes here according to the following template:

1. +1 level of (class)
2. any increases in BAB or saves
3. +xx hp (you may take 3/4 of your die, or I can roll for you using Invisible Castle)
4. skill points distribution
5. feats
6. spells
7. class features

Training will take 1 week to add a level of your current class, but might take longer if you decide to multi into something that's drastically different (if, for instance, Krug has Plonk take a level of Brb, it may take Plonk two weeks to train). In that parenthetical example, I'd need some a pretty IG good reason to allow it. :D

As for treasure, from the vault in the Cannith foundry...
You find two sacks filled with old coins (one of silver, one of gold), 4 ancient gold ingots, four stoppered vials, a scroll case, and an adamantine plate shaped into a seven-pointed star, roughly six inches wide from point to point. This last item must be the schema.
Aside from the schema, the treasure count ends up being 100 sp and 100 gp in old coins (perhaps worth more to a collector, although finding one may take time), 4 50 gp ingots, and a map of an area between what's now the Mournlands and Darguun littered with cryptic symbols. Over the course of his training, Plonk identifies the potions (3 cure light wounds potions, and 1 mage armor) and the sword that you found later (+1 longsword).
A search of these bodies reveals little, except on the body of a man in a dark blue cloak with grey skin and white eyes, where you find the following: a 140 gp letter of credit written to the name Caius Ruz on the authority of the Main Bank of House Kundarak in Metrol (the former capital of Cyre), a rather nice black pearl (which you value, on a spot check at about 700 gp [Appraise check]), and a silver pearl (which you value, on a spot check at about 125 gp [Appraise check]).
The black pearl's been sold, but you still have the silver pearl and the letter of credit, although you have no idea who Caius Ruz is and whether the House Kundarak banks in Sharn will honor anything drawn on the Metrol branch.
One suit of scale mail, one small and finely-made chain shirt, three small steel shields bearing the Cannith seal, a heavy mace, a longsword, a rapier with an onyx hilt and gold inlay on the blade, another heavy mace of superior balance, and a pair of sunrods.
Gannon has taken the sunrods and heavy mace. The rapier's masterwork [decorative] as I've noted, and the chain shirt is a normal masterwork chain shirt. The rest is normal equipment. This should wrap up treasure...I'll trust the group of you to divide it fairly. :)

Anyhow, I'll start a new IC thread sometime around Monday/Tuesday, so if you can figure out a plan for where y'all will be staying and what you'll do during your time off, that'd be sweet. You can, of course, discuss that either here OOC or in the other thread IC. :)

Woohoo! Cool! Plonk of course continues on his Artificer training... :D

Plonk doesn't want any of the items beyond the potions, and is for selling it and dividing up the booty. ;)

He'd also like to create a first level Wand of Magic Missiles using his craft reserve...

Gannon continues his training as a cleric of the Traveler. So he becomes a 2nd-level cleric.

1: +1 level of Cleric of the Traveler.
2: +1 BAB, +1 Fortitude and +1 Will.
3: 6 hp increase (3/4 HD).
4: +1 Concentration, +1 Disguise, +1 Knowledge (arcana), +1 Spellcraft and +1 Survival.
5: No feats gained at 2nd level.
6: Spells progress as usual... (The joys and wonders of having your whole spell list at your disposal ;)).
7: No new class features gained.

Well, I'm thinking about taking a level of fighter, to somewhat realize the potential Flawed should have received in the Forge (as I say before, somewhat of an Eldritch Knight type). No update yet, though.:heh:

No worries. It would appear that the party's decided to go to Xen'drik, so that'll be the plan. I'll have the next IC thread started tonight or tomorrow, and I'll assume that you have at least 1.5 weeks to train and procure equipment.

Training times:
Gannon, Plonk — 1 week
Flawed (if he picks up a level of Fighter) — 10 days

Ashy: I don't know what your plans for Rawhide are, but training him in a discipline that isn't Ftr, Brb, or Rog (and maybe Rgr) will take a little extra time, given his background (2 weeks for anything else, 1 week for those three).

If y'all decide to buy equipment, give me a list, and I'll determine the price of the goods. Remember, you'll need to pay for passage to Stormreach from Sharn.

Rawhide'll be getting another level of Bar, but he'll need some help on equipment - poor boy is not bright enough to know when to upgrade his weapons and armor... :P

Updated Flawed in the RG.

1. +1 level of Fighter
2. +1 BAB, +2 Fort
3. +10 hp (7 Fighter, 3 Conhttp://www.invisiblecastles.com)
4. 2 skill points on Intimidate, 2 skill points on Craft
5. Improved Initiative
6. No change
7. Fighter Bonus Feat (see 5.)

It's picked up a warforged repair kit (50 gp), but otherwise did not change equipment.
