Handouts to Explain RPGs

Nice PDF, but...

I notice a problem with the picture you've split. First you read his responce (Err why 'Intuition'?) before you read the DM's request which prompts it (Please roll your character's perception+Instinct). Second, (perhaps something got lost in translation) it doesn't make sense because in one frame its "intuition" and another its "instinct", while they have similiar meanings they aren't the same word, which they surely would be in an RPG.

So it doesn't scan as well, and it doesn't make sense.

Still its useful and pretty good, although your translation needs a read over and a few corrections in places (but generally you've done a really good job).

Thanks for pointing this out! I'll have to modify it. :)

The document could use some modifications of grammar/flow. I'll get on that ASAP.

Damn. I just had to prove that I am no designer.

Really, the design sucks. I made it with Word. I'm sorry. :(

The most important aspect of role-playing games is fun. If it weren’t fun, why would anyone do it? Well, except for those wacky French...

That made me laugh!

In a way, that's very accurate when talking about RPGs. IME, the "cultural value", the "realism" and the "intellectual accuracy" of a roleplaying game are often coming first for some French gamers to have fun. This feels a bit like "Francois Truffaut meets D&D", if you see what I mean.
