With the wand in his right hand, he reaches out to heal (Gorefoot or Nars).

I may be being thick, but... um, which one? Am I supposed to decide, or is it that it's unclear where everything is? I'll try to get an updated map up soon, in case that's the problem. (And since Manzanita requested it, anyway.)
Edit: As I suspected, I was being thick. :)

Persephone: Yes and yes.

Round 10 concludes
Ishmael bounds towards the melee, and heals Gorefoot for 6, yelling encouragement to the mighty Gnome.

ooc: Ishmael has line of sight to Gorefoot, and while Gorefoot would have cover against Ishmael that doesn't apply to a friendly action such as a heal.

As round 11 begins, the battlefield looks as shown in this map. Note that Gorefoot stands atop the unconcious Rodimus.

Round 11 begins

Initiative
Nars (15 damage of 14 hp, -1)
Redcap (54 damage) and starting to look hurt
Gorefoot (6 damage of 27 hp/31 raging)
Rodimus (21 damage of 18 hp, -3)
Persephone (12 damage of 21 hp)
Ishmael

Nars fails to stabilize, dropping to -2.

The Redcap swings at Gorefoot while laughing maniachally, and the Scythe catches the side of Gorefoots neck, ripping open his throat and killing him instantly. Natural 20 Confirmed Critical Hit damage 8d4+52=73.

ooc: [sblock]Dammit! Monsters shouldn't carry x4 critical weapons, it's too swingy! Sorry, Gorefoot. We'll see what can be done about this after the battle.[/sblock]

Rodimus fails to stabilize, dropping to -4.

OOC: 73 pts of dmg!?! Holy crap! In my campaign, that would have been a beheading, or some even more gruesome death. Alas poor Gorefoot; I loved him well, Icycool.

Percy squeels with anguish at her dear friend's demise, but continues with her plan. In the back of her head, she wonders if maybe spending 150 years with the faeries wouldn't be so bad afterall...

"Fool!" Her disembodied voice shouts at the fey. "When you strike down the blessed of the druids, they rise, more powerful than ever!" From the gnome's bloody corpse, a glowing purplish, vaguely humanoid form rises, and raises its arms threateningly at the redcap. Meanwhile, she reaches out in her mind to her loyal owl, who hovers above and behind the murderer per her last orders, "Now! Now Fridly - the necklace! Seize it in your claws and carry it away!"

OOC: Cast dancing lights. Bluff +8. This is intended to capture the redcap's attention. Fridly hopefully will swoop down, grap the necklace with his claws, and try to lift it off the fey's head. As Fridley tries, Percy will instruct him to let go immediately if he fails and flee. I've added Fridley's stats to Percy's CS. He has move silently +27. I don't want to roll unless/until you know what his chance of success would be. Feel free to roll for me.

OOG: Holy Crap! First LEW death! Condolences to Icycool. Gorefoot was a scrappy little fighter.

OOG2: I want to see what happens with Percy's attempt before declaring an action.

Round 11 continues
Persephone's magical light show serves its purpose, distracting the Redcap enough that it does not get an attack of opportunity as Fridley swoops in. The owl snatches in the general area of the necklace, but doesn't get a solid grip. In aggravation, the Redcap drops one hand off his scythe to hold onto the necklace firmly, holding the scythe only loosely in his right hand.

Percy

Percy urges her owl away with her empathy. "Nice try, Fridly, but flee! Stay away from that one with the shiny necklace. Stay overhead. I'll tell you if I need you again."

[sblock]Clenching her rod again, she attempts to move up behind Ishmael. Balance roll: 17 Success! [/sblock]

OOG1: Dropping the wand, Ishmael tries to attack the Redcap but he misses (1d20+6=9). He'll circle to draw the Fey away from his friends and to use the advantage of his reach weapon.

Jumping to i19 (1d20+10=24, 1d20+10=23) Success.

Ishmael's fear of the Redcap's power is made real by Gorefoot's doom. The Deep Halfling feels a familiar cold emptiness inside him when the heroic Gnome is torn open by a scythe.

"Damn Thee!" he screams at Redcap. "Thou art damned to all the Hells for thine murders, Foul One!"

He could no longer let his fear hold him back. Powerful passion rushes through the Deep Halfling, imbuing his muscles with alacrity. He tosses the wand of Healing aside, and grips his implement of Justice: the Glaive.

Ishmael raises the polearm high in the air, allowing the blade to glint in the light.

"FALL NOW, FIEND!"

He then brings it down upon the laughing Redcap, as hard as he could manage, as hard as his anger would let him. But the Redcap sidesteps the passion-powered blow easily.

Ishmael's failed attack reminds him of his current vulnerability and of the current state of his still living companions. I have to draw him away! thinks the Deep Halfling in desperation.

He attempts to circle the Fey, trying to lure the dreadful Fey's attention from his friends.
