ooc: time xp isn't always given at the same time as encounter xp--I trust Rystil's judgement in handing out xp, especially since he got approval from the judges. 675 is quite a lot for a low level random encounter, and those renders definitely were not CR 8.

(OOC: Thanks Jdvn1! By the way, I don't remember when I got judge approval, but I'm happy if I did. Yay! But about the time XP, Bront is correct that it has been over a month, so I do find it prudent to give it out now before everyone levels and increases the amount--that's right: I'm giving you XP now so that you get less XP in the long run--confusing enough yet?

I'd still give the GM the benefit of the doubt--that's part of my job, right?

ooc: I'm probably too sensitive to this because I've had players argue with me over xp before, claiming that I didn't give them enough or something. I think the closest I came was when I mentioned the numbers I was getting to KO in another thread (a few weeks ago actually) and said they seemed a bit high and he said they looked okay, I think. I remember that, and I'd assume that the judge would confirm your calculations (or at least, personally, I'd show them to him for questions/comments... why not cover your back if you can?), but it's probably not a huge deal either. I don't recall if the guide goes over this--the GM section hasn't pertained to me yet.- Status
