Shara, The Light Bringer (Light, Life, and Wisdom - Arbiter of the Godlings)

Account of Birth
Shara, was borne from the light that shone from the wounds of Valkrath and Volkath as they battled. In the aftermath of their destruction and the diffusion of their essences Shara was born, coalesced from the light of their wounds and the energies of their diffused spirits. She was of the first godlings to be 'borne'.

Form
Shara stands a mortal's 6' in height with long, straight white hair that occasionally curls here and there. White motes of divine light quickly fade in and wink out at random intervals. Her eyes are of a pure white light that reflects the purest divine energy that infuses her being. Deeply tanned skin, soft and supple like the softest and most nurturing light. Shara's vuluptous form is draped with a simple white toga that seems horribly out of place on her feminine form, covering a sublime beauty and wisdom that begs to be set free.

Personality
Shara is formed from the very essence of our progenitors and she is takes this position seriously. She believes that she is the purest of the Godlings and looks to guide and enhance the works of the others.

Basic Info
Basic Alignment: NG
Portfolio: Light, Life, and Wisdom [Positive Energy]

Polar Godling [Energy]: Jemal (Undeath, the Damned and Rebirth) [Negative Energy]
Polar Godling [Portfolio]: Traume (Death) [Death]

Manifestations: Follwers that please Shara may notice wounds, negative levels, or other maladies fade away. A subtle white aura may surround and envigorate them, or light equivalent to the Suns of the Worlds of Life may appear shedding Sunlight everywhere.

Divine Agents
Phaenix (Phoenix): 12 were created - one for each 7 planets in the primary system and 4 others. With the destruction of the planet Prime its associated Phaenix, the Phaenix was reborne as the Godling Yuneki. A Phaenix egg was given to NOS for it to act as guide and protector of those who seek "That Which Isn't" and to monitor the Far Horizon.

Sponsored Planes
Zhyreus (Home Plane) - very similar to Elysium - Bright and vibrant with life.
I will most likely have another plane associated with this that is the Positive Energy Plane as well as the Quasi-Elemental Plane of Radiance.

Creations
Aelves (created from one of Traume's Watchers)
Shield of Shara: This shield is imbued with the energies of light and life. It will protect you well against Fiends and Undead. It will bring to you the grace and resolve of my mortal children, the Aelves. I have reluctantly granted it some of the insight of the "Place that Isn't" so that you will be better able to protect yourself verses creatures borne of madness and darkness.

It was originally given to Jo'Karr prior to leaving to engage the Cyst from 'What Isn't'.

Traume the Watcher of Worlds

The Keeper of the Crossroads, Lord of the Glittering Path, Master of Shadows

Account of Birth
Traume arose from the raw energies that were released in the cosmic death of the primal combatants, after they had slain each other and gone on to spirit form. Traume is not a evil deity however he embodies the very nature of Death and thus his very presence brings with it Entropy, Destruction and Death. Nonetheless he is protective of those he considers to be his charge, As Guardian of the Crossroads it is Traume who oversees the transition between worlds, planes and forms of being.

Form
Traume is of indistinct form as he is always shrouded in shadows which blend with the deeper shadow around him. He is generally humanoid in form and possibly immense. At other times he takes on the form of a tall human dressed in black, and at others he is a mere presence in the background.

Personality
Traume is a quiet contemplative being who cares deeply for his progeny and his charges. He is curious but cautious and slow to act

Basic Info
Basic Alignment: NG
Portfolio: Death, Protection, Nurture

Polar Godling [Energy]: Shara
Polar Godling [Portfolio]: Jemal

Manifestations: Those mortals who follow Traume bring comfort to the grieiving and guidance to the the wayward. They observe the world but do not interfer until times of suffering when they are present to guide, protect and nurture. More important though are his duty to guide and protect the spirits of the dead as they seek final rest.

"For Death fills all creation so that there is no peace and only suffering,
even balance brings with it the uncaring Truth of karmic nature
Man strives against Man and Beast against Beast even the very Plants are at war

No comfort is found in magic or in prayer, only the path of suffering
for who has wisdom enough to use it?
even the gods contend amongst themselves

Oh Great Lord of the Glittering Path, Faithful Watcher and Master of Shadows grant unto your servant wisdom and lead me to your place of Peace!"
- the Prayer of Huil the Weeper (First Heirophant of the Cult of Weepers)

Divine Agents
The NightWing
And The Master of Shadows created for himself a messenger crafted of the living shadows yet following the Pheonix-form of Shara's creation and Traume commnaded that his messenger whom he named Nightwing go forth into the Universe and into Selaniel's place and to Torrana and to Shara, to K'netan and to Nos, to Algennis and to Moss there to warn her of the Radiant being and see what she could do to stop its coming ..."
- the Enwald Manuscript 5:237

The Nightwing is Deaths primary avatar and directly linked. The Nightwing mimics the Pheonix form but is a creature of pure entrophy, its passing sucks the light from the stars and brings dread to mortal hearts. Yet at the heart of Entropy is found the Jewel of Algennis, the raw stuff of change collapsed into material form, thus Entropy brings change.

The Watchers
The Sorrow of Traume Chapter 4 v19 - 22
19 And he appointed Watchers to guard the borders between Worlds and Planes
20 that no evil intent should come upon the Worlds of Life.
21 And he appointed them also to guide those who pass into spirit form
22 that they may come into his care and not fall victim to the shadows and the things unknown

Knowing that he could not enter the physical Worlds without bringing death in his wake Traume has created a group of servitors to act as Watchers in the physical World, and to guard the borders and crossroads. Immortal spirits (though not divine) these beings usually stand aloof from the worlds in which they dwell but sometmes they become curious and begin to interact with their charges
The most famous case of a Watcher interacting was Avial the first human a Watcher given form and flesh by Tocho.

Taken from 'The Song of the Watchers'
"23and we shall divide you into four companies that your function shall be made clear
24 the First Company shall be with Avial and with Tocho to be the Guardians over your Mortal sister and all her children,
25the Second Company shall dwell amongs the Children of Moss and become one with their nature as Watchers and Keepers,
26 the Third Company shall dwell in this Place and be as Guides to those who pass from the world of life into the Place of Spirits
27 and the Forth Company will be free to roam and the Nightwing shall be your guide ...

39 and the the taint of Jemal is upon that place and is an abomination
40 know that the Nightwing shall overshadow them that follow the path of depravity
41 and you shall be as a bane against them..."

The Watchers thus have four companies being
1. The Guardians of Mortals
2. The Watchers over Nature
3. The Guides of Spirits
4. The Nightwings companions (active throughout the multiverse)

Elemental forms
Of the Nightwings Companions in the Fourth Company Traume caused some of them to absorb into the bodies the Seeohtoo and Fires which threatened to destroy the Worlds of Life and others to replair the blasted stone of the earth to bringing the Waters of Life to replenish the scolded ground - Fire Air Earth and Water the

And Traume calls to all existance
"See these my children the Feiry Ones and the Savage Winds, the Earthen Forms and Watery Ones. These shall be as arbiters of your power in this World and shall control and care for each of these powers, that never again shall they be beyond our power to control. Death is mine to give and I claim this right to control what is mine. All you who unleash your power into the Worlds of Life. Know this

I AM the End of All Things and I am Watching

NB1 Jemal is an Undead Watcher, the first mortal to die
NB2 Othar was the last mortal to die, raised up by Traume
NB3 Alyssa is the companion of Traume, the sister of Albedo and created by U-DO
NB4 Humans Elfs and Gnomes are all linked to Traume (as progeny)

Tocho, The Hunter

Account of Birth
Tocho was awakened by the Lifeburst of Shara. It was from this manifestation of the goddess of life that Tocho was given consciousness with which he could enact change upon the multiverse.
Form
Tocho's form is mostly that of an incredible fit and healthy, well muscled human. However, he has the fierce head of a lion, along with a lion's tail and talons. He typically wears a leather kilt along with well polished breastplate armor.
Personality
Tocho is the embodiment of competition. He thrives on constant conflict, of any form including intellectual. He hates to loose, but is generally a good sport about it seeing it as more a delay than a final failure. What doesnt kill you only makes you stronger, and as long as you stay in the game you haven't truly been defeated. Thus only when your opponent is killed or gives up have you won. Despite his promotion of survival of the fittest, he is not an evil god. He sees his method as a way for constant self improvement and betterment, and he shows more favor on those who keep trying for victory than on those who don't have to try (yea for the underdog). Creatures that grow too cocky in their ability and cease honing their skill against worthy opponents, choosing to pick on the weaker creatures, evoke his wrath almost as much as quiters do. He also does not promote mortal contests in which one combatant must die, though he doesn't deter it either. It is the contest itself that he is interested in, not how it is decided.
Basic Info
Alignment: CN
Portfolio: Animals, Hunting, Competition

Polar Godling (energy): None
Polar Godling (portfolio): U-Do? (Tocho definitely does not seek balance/karma)

Manifestations: Followers of Tocho find that the more obstacles they overcome and the more they strive against the odds, the more powerful they themselves become in their abilities. He has no time for those that follow other paths and lets them be, but is quick to strike down agents that seek to undermine his work and that of his followers (U-Do's volcanoe comes to mind), either personally or through his followers.

Divine Agents
Tochos Wolves: The wolf is one of Tocho's finest creations. A relentless and cunning hunter that employs varied tactics and uses a group effort to tackle foes much more powerful than themselves. And Tocho's Wolves are the embodiment of all that a wolf is supposed to be. Infused with his own divine energies, they themselves have become quasi-deity titans with great intelligence, strength, and stamina. They roam across the worlds and the planes to carry out the will of their god.

Lycanthropes: Not so much a divine agent as a fanatical cult. Lycanthropes were once human, but they infused themselves with the essence of wolves, a reverred creature among followers of Tocho. Thus they are between worlds, able to take either form or a cross between them at will. They devoutly follow the teachings of Tocho and spread his doctrine to others. Lately they have become more and more disatisfied with the ways of other humans and their "civilization" and have begun moving in packs into the wilds.

Yuneki, The Temptrest, Lady of Fortune

Account of Birth
Yuneki was borne of paradox, created by the conclusion of Othar's journey backwards through the time stream. In that respect, one could say that Othar is her father. She first appeared within the universe as an egg, which was hatched within the realm of Jo'karr.

Form
Manifesting as a 5'7 woman with fiery red hair, almond eyes, and chestnut skin, Yuneki is a vuluptous feminine beauty who wears revealing and provocative outfits, which change randomly of her accord.

Personality
Yuneki is a playful goddess, enjoying her ability to alter reality in order to allow near impossible things to occur, or reversely, stopping a sure thing from occuring. She also enjoys her ability to manipulate mortals, seeking direct interference with them. She takes pleasure in igniting latent interests within the hearts of mortals, sometimes helpfully instilling pride and ambition into their work, other times provoking unhealthy obsessive behavior. She is sometimes frustrated with the limits of her power over mortals though, as she lacks the ability to instill new ideas and desires within the lower beings. Nor is she able to reduce a persons interest, she only has the ability to amplify it. This does not stop her from divine decrees of course, for a direct encounter with a deity is usually more than enough for a mortal to invoke ideas and desires themselves.

Basic Info
Basic Alignment: CN
Portfolio: Luck and Passion

Polar Godling [Energy]: ?
Polar Godling [Portfolio]: Possibly Othar, Tocho, or Jo'karr

Manifestations: Follwers of Yuneki have an uncanny knack for getting what they want and beating the odds. Her followers tend to entrust their fate with the moods of their goddess, thus relegating themselves to her whims instead of relying upon personal skill (this is why Tocho and Jo'karr might have a problem with her). Yuneki is a fickle deity though, and not all prayers to her are heeded.

U-DO: The universe spawned avenger of Karma, and the keeper of balance.

ACOUNT OF BIRTH: Created by the universe.

FORM: U-DO is a 5'9 human shaped being with gray hair, plain features and a plain gray robe.

PERSONALITY: Few gods understand U-DO's though process, so he seems unreasonable and cold, as well as a heartless murderer, but U-DO is the kind of god who will stop at nothing to accomplish his tasks. He is not generally sociable and has a common dislike for gods. He has blatant disregard for boundaries and rules given by other beings.

Known Info: He is associated with Karma and Balance. He was created by the universe. His only avatar is a radiation elemental forged from U-DO's rage and the power of a universe collapsing.

Unknown Info (Haven't gotten to it in story mode yet): U-DO's powers actually have nothing to do with what he upholds. He has no powers related to these subjects, and in reverse is not really affected by problems and changes in them like other dieties would be. This is because he was not designed to be his own god, but copied from one of the other gods. When the universe had decided to make U-DO, they needed to choose a template in which to base him off of. This template was actually Algennis, Twisters of Forms, the Lord of Flux. U-DO's powers were created with this god in mind, but he had his own variation. He could only manipulate energy. He could take the energies of the universe and manipulate them at his will. This includes natural occuring energies like fire and gravity, all the way to magic and even, to an extent, the life force of mortal beings. All energies of the universe are connected to him. This is why he seems to have a sense of omnicience. The universe designed him with free will to best serve its needs, but added a catch into it. Whenever the universe became unbalanced, U-DO would feel the distorted energies. It would annoy him, even to the point of causing him pain, though physically it didn't hamper him at all. But this horrible feeling that would grow inside of him forces him to take action and right whatever was unbalancing the universe so that he could be at peace once more. In terms of Karma, U-DO has the ability to take the energy release by actions of other beings, move it through the web of the universes energies and return it to whereever he sees fit, however he sees fit.

Creations of U-DO: The three creations of U-DO all have free will and thought, though they do not have souls. These beings are invisible and almost totally immune to the gods, though mrotals can affect them. The first two of these beings left their birth place and created themselves bodies to influence the mortal world, though these bodies do not affect their natural existance in any way, for they are spirits. The third could not gain himself a body, so had to be made part of the spellforge.

Albedo: The first spirit created by U-DO's artifact, Albedo believes in the sword. His skills and ambitions all involve destruction. He is a distinctly evil creature who smites what he thinks doesn't need to exist or what will provide the greatest challenge for him. At the same time though, he leads mortals on to accomplish great tasks, teaches them how to defend themselves and advances society in a way the other beings cannot control their fate with ease. A warmonger he may be, but nobody can deny his hero status among the mortals.

Alyssa: The second being created by U-DO's artifact, Alyssa is a pure and good being. She helps the sick and dying, and tries to make life better for all mortals. She is reveared as a saint. U-DO sent her away to Traume's realm to observe the mortal world from afar and to learn from the god of death.

Xavak: This being was partially created by U-DO, but had its personality ressurected from one of Endovior's tomes. This being is generally neutral and does not take alot of direct influence on the mortal realm.

Jo'Karr (Mortal Lord, Forge Lord, The Fallen God, Silver Titan)

Birth:
Formed by the divine spirit in all mortals, living and, most especially, dead. Those who were suffering and had died suffering from events caused by the gods before, and shortly after, the FIRST WAR cried out for someone to protect them. Jo'Karr appeared, bound to their collective will in a flash of blinding light.

Death:
After battling with the foulest fiend, a former archangel named Usuegi, Jo'Karr voluntarily used all of his divine power to imprison Usuegi's soul in a magic arrow, then destroyed both the arrow and the soul by firing it into a Sphere of Annihilation. Jo'Karr used so much power that he was effectively reduced to being a titan. Later he merged with Alexandra to form Joxandar.

Form:
Jo'Karr appears to be a very tall human made of silvery metal, and where his features were once perfect now appear many harsh scars of battle, especially on his right arm. He wears only a long kilt of divinely woven silk, that seems to be made of the night sky itself. He often carries a dirty looking smithing hammer and some of him is almost always covered in soot from his forge. His form is mutable, and he can shape himself however he so desires.

Personality:
Jo'Karr is an ecclectic being, capable of going from a burning rage to absolute joy without any emotional stages in between. He prefers to resolve conflicts peacefully, but violently defends what he had built. Jo'Karr is neither a 'good' nor 'evil' god, since he can be inhumanly cruel or (pardon the phrase) "angelic" in his benevolence. His only concern are the mortals, so whatever disposition best protects them is the disposition he adopts. He doesn't care about what mortals do, even if they commit atrocities, and he doesn't actually care that they eventually die, so long as its not a god or a titan that kills them. He has developed a violent dislike of titans, such as FAILURE, Albedo, and Allyssa, and the immortal undead and demons. This dislike may be because almost all of the above seek to thwart and harm him. Strangely enough, he considers Jemal, lord of the undead, to be amongst his closest allies. He looks to Shara as his patron deity (odd that an ex-god has begun to worship a former comrade).

Basic Info:
Alignment: Neutral (Positive Energy)
Portfolio: Mortals, Inspiration, Crafts, Art, War

Polar Godling (Energy): Jemal (Negative Energy)
Polar Godling (Portfolio): U-Do (Balance), Jemal (Undeath)

Manifestations:
Those few who still worship him receive no special benefit, though he does retain a few powers for himself that are reminiscient of his deity days. He can shapeshift with perfect accuracy into any humanoid form, as well as many non humanoid forms of medium size. He can dissassemble and reassemble any matter he can touch, though he cannot alter matter in a manner inconsistent with chemical physics. He cannot dissassemble atoms, but he can rearrange them as well as molecules. Thus, he could take crude gold ore and make a coin, but not take lead ore and make a gold coin.

Agents:
Angels: The angels are a paragon race of mortals, with long lifespans and beautiful forms. The Archangels, the paragons of the paragon race, border on titanic in their power. The angels convey moments of inspiration to the other mortal races. They are fiercely loyal to Jo'Karr.

Artifacts:
Bow of Jo'Karr: an excelently and ornately crafted composite longbow, which strikes true every time. The damage the bow does is directly related to the power of the wielder. Thus, weilded by a titan, the bow is devastating. In the hands of a true god, the bow's destructive potential is unlimited.
Forge Hammer: a simple, rather ugly and soot covered smithing hammer. The hammer amplifies magical creation powers, transmutation, and conjuration spells.
Walking Staff of Traume: a simple staff of hard, dark wood, with a large gem in the top that appears to be made of the night sky. The staff serves as a beacon, sending light visible only to the intended recipient out to wherever the recipient is. Meant to aid in directing souls to the Glistenning Path.
Phaenix Amulet of Shara: the amulet is dome shaped, with a gold back, a ruby the size of a fist, and a gold phaenix emblazoned on the front. The amulet's power is Phaenix Fire, which wraps the wearer in a raging blaze of white fire, which is espcially damaging to undead and evil creatures.
Sceptar of Jemal: this artifact is a short iron sceptar with a mace-like head. The sceptar bears a heiroglyphic description of the battle over the Ziggurat of Jo'Karr wrapped around the shaft. The sceptar can only belong to the true lord of the undead, anyone else attempting to wield it is killed (if mortal) or horribly scarred (if immortal) or receives terrible pain (if a titan or greater).

Nos the Sojourner, the Knower of the Unknown, the Keeper of Secrets, the Watcher, the First Born, the Walker in the What Isn't

Account of Birth
The first entity created by Valkrath, Nos is strange. When Volkath came, Valkrath became aware that he did not know all as he had previously known. Nos was splintered from the mind of Valkrath, his purpose was to know. To seek the hidden things and understand them.

When the war began, he aided Valkrath until he disappeared, presumed destroyed by Volkath. But after the wars end, he reappeared. When asked where he had gone, he simply said he walked in the What Is'nt and would speak no more of it.

Form
Beings of great power and intellect see Nos as a being of indistinct form that seems to shed wisps of multi-hued light. Most beings, even some godlings that are more firmly grounded in this reality see him as their minds are capable of comprehending him, so most being see him differently from how others see him.

Personality
Nos is not concerned with the world, he views it as a transitive state of existence or perhaps a piece of artwork. He appears to be a completely unconcerned watcher of events. This is not completely true however, he has found himself recently interfering with events, finding himself becoming more involved with the lives of beings that inhabit this existence. It is causing him to take a more active roll.

Basic Info
Basic Alignment:
N (G)
Portfolio: Knowledge, Secrets

Polar Godling [Energy]:
Polar Godling [Portfolio]:

Manifestations:
Nos has no power or followers. He has eluded to the fact that if he did use what power he had it would cause massive destruction. On the other hand he is not subject to limitations normally associated with “normal” reality. No barrier can stop him, no force can harm him. He is effectively just a projection of a relic of the progenitors war.

Divine Agents
None

Sponsored Planes
None or What Isn’t a place beyond the scope of the game, where he supposedly discovered knowledge beyond that which is otherwise knowable. Though strictly speaking he does not sponsor such a place, as it does not conventionally exist.

Creations
He is incapable of creation. He does not exist as others do, at least here. He is capable of revealing knowledge to creatures which can have a profound effect on them.
