Which outsider abilities do Planetouched races get?

Once again I find myself wondering how ENWorlders in general feel about a subject. Given the disagreement over whether or not Aasimar gain the weapon proficiencies as per the outsider template, I ask people to vote on which outsider traits they get. I have left out raise dead et. al. and eating and sleeping features, as they are directly addressed in the template. I also have not included the outsider features as there doesn't seem to be any debate on them. Feel free to support your vote.

Can't answer this, since the second and third option depend on whether they have racial HD or not, not whether they are native Outsiders or not.

But, um... the questions says What Outsider features do Outsider (Native) races get?...

For those to whom hit dice matters, let us go with no racial hit dice. Sorry for not making that clear in the question.

With regards to the 3rd option, it is with deep embarassment that I notice that I typed Weapon where I intended to type Shield. This is official errata.

Well, as to your question, about Aasimar and Tieflings specifically, you might want to note, that the Outsider type entry says:

Traits: An outsider possesses the following traits (unless otherwise noted in a creature's entry).

The Planetouched have a list of their racial traits, which does not include weapon and armor proficiencies.

Although, this is not clearly spelled out anywhere, I think this is because they do not have racial HD (unlike most other outsiders). But that is not really important, the trait listing under the creature entry clearly overrides the trait listing in the appendix.

My bad, actually, didn't realize you limited it to the Planetouched in the subject line. I was thinking in a more general case of all native Outsiders, of which some might get the weapon and armor proficiencies as a racial trait.

Eh? I don't quite understand that reasoning...not specifically stating they get something is the same as specifically saying they don't get it?

From the outsider type, nothing, as the outsider traits are overridden by the creature entry. From their stated racial traits, 60' darkvision and Celestial as an automatic language.

In this case, yes. The creature description lists all of its racial abilities. Neither automatic proficiency with simple and martial weapons, nor standard outsider traits, are listed as racial abilities.

Instead there is this: "Racial Feats: An aasimar gains feats according to its class levels", once again excluding it from gaining any other feats as racial abilities.

They get all outsider traits except for those specifically exluded either by native or by their entry.

Their entry does not say that they do not gain the proficiencies.

Therefore, they gain the proficiencies.

I have seen no rules in this thread nor the other most recent one to refute that.

Plus, even with those additions they are still weak with their LA, might as well give them the benefit of the doubt.

Darkvision out to 60 feet.

Proficient with all simple and martial weapons and any weapons mentioned in its entry.
