5E - What do you predict for FIFTH edition?

You'll be able to play the whole game with just one dice - the d20. There will no longer be any reason to have ability scores and then separate ability modifiers. Class abilities will just be feats, and you can select them as you wish, so only three classes will be needed. Monsters and NPCs will require no more space than 1/4 page in most cases. Combat will be streamlined and will not use attacks of opportunity as a check on every single special attack. The same rules system will be easily utilized for every imaginable genre.

Wow, if such a game system existed, I'd be playing it right now.

It will be so good, so utterly perfect, that all AD&D players, basic players, 2E players, 3.0 and 3.5 and 4 (and 4.333 and 4.666) players will immediately give up their favorite version and rush to adopt 5E with open arms. There will be peace and harmony between all D&D websites. It will be so cool that suddenly anyone who like sports and doesn't play D&D will be seen as a loser. Yes, it will truly be paradise on Earth.

What can we expect in 5E?

What?

You mean there's actually something newer than the OD&D Rules Cyclopedia???

Oh well ... no real reason to give it up for all the new fangled pseudo mmorpg table top roll playing whatchamacallit ...

It'll be the first fully integrated virtual reality rpg.

No that's 4.1010 Ed the electronic dungeon. 5th edition will introduce the radical REAL reality edition with help from Portal Corp. It will recieve rave reviews but will suffer from a lack of repeat buisiness once it's discovered that synthetic diamonds don't work for Raise Dead spells.
