Congratulations on the new site. Will you also be offering any print products from the publishers or just sticking with PDFs?

Currently we have no plans to offer print products from our publishers. That said, as we are a cooperative our members have the ability to influence the direction the site takes. If 3/4 of our members are interested in such an option then we'll look into and impliment a method of offering print products. We are a site where our members have a lot of influence concerning the development and direction of the business.

I hope this is a success Joe.

Does this in an way indicate that you or Goodman Games or Fiery Dragon are going to be offering pdf only products from now on? Or are there links on this site that takes you to the respective site where print versions can be bought?

BTW, the site fully loaded for me in under 15 seconds the very first time on a DSL.

Thanks for the well wishes! :)

Goodman games and Fiery Dragon are offering their PDF products for sale at www.yourgamesnow.com. Although I cannot speak for them definitively, I do not believe either of them intend to change their current business operations to PDF only and will continue their print products as they have been doing since inception. Expeditious Retreat Press will continue printing as well.

Right now there are very few links on our site. We're going to discuss how we want those links to function, but I won't be surprised if we decide that linking to the print version of the PDF product up for sale is a useful idea.

Good to hear. Having so many graphics slows down that initial load, so we're trying to walk the fine line between nice presentation of products and quick loading times.

Good to hear. That is what I was assuming, since I hadn't caught any of you announcing otherwise, but this is one of those things I wanted to be sure about.

Plus you guys may want to pay attention to RPGnows hacking fiasco, and learn from their mistakes. Especially on how they handled it publicly with some of their customers. I have read some posts by upset people on several websites about how RPGnow handled their response to the problem.
