Previews for February and Beyond is up

I think these articles have been getting worse and worse anyway. I mean for Dungeonscape:
You could read back cover text back in December, and I didn't get material to show off last month. It's on sale this month, so you can go look at it.
I've been looking forward to Dungeonscape for quite some time, and we get nothing.

Huh. 3.xe has been out for 7 years, and we are just getting a magic item record sheet.

Wow, good job Wizards :\:uhoh:

I use the free one from Creative Mountain Games.

Its kind of depressing to realise my 8th level binder has most of his slots empty, however.

I'm intrigued, but I also feel that perhaps the Order of the Emerald Claw could use a break from playing the villain in official Eberron adventures.

Let's see an adventure where you face off against the Ashbound, the minions of the Lords of Dust, or a cult of the Dragon Below.

He just seemed a little tired and overworked to me. Someone at Wizards was probably on his case about getting the article out since it was already a week overdue.

When one is presenting what is essentially a marketing announcement, I think it's important to use an excited tone - even if the writer is not excited.

Nothing like getting your audience depressed when showing off your wares.

Bad move (IMO).

I'm willling to cut Matt some slack myself. He gets a bad rep when being excited about stuff ("he's just a shill") and he gets a bad rep when he's indifferent ("show some enthusiasm, man").

Not from the same people, of course. :D

But all in all, I think it'd would have been better to rewrite that last preview just a tad bit. :D

This Dungeons & Dragons adventure takes heroes from the planar city of Sigil to the darkest corners of the Outer Planes, gathering resources to battle the forces of Lolth, Demon Queen of Spiders.

hmm...I'm interested to see what they do with Sigil. I was thinking I was going to pass on this one, but I think I've changed my mind.

The best part of that article was the reference to the freebie we're getting, which, if I'm not mistaken, is Temple of the Frog 3.5! W00t! And so on.

...Is it me or is the record sheet just the Incarnum Chakra record sheet with a couple things changed? :)
