I don't see a pointy wizard hat. I do see someone with a pointy helm, a mace and a shield at the back.

My fears regarding the hat in question have been satisfactorily allayed:

I'm not keen on that picture - just doesn't sit right with me for some reason.

B - Killing the sacred cow of colour-coded dragon. That picture is so much cooler if that is a green 4e dragon rather than a 4e green dragon.
That'd be really, really goddamned nice. Iron Kingdoms' exquisitely cool treatment of dragons stands out more than its guns and steam mecha, in my book, and it'd definitely be a nice route to see D&D head down. Probably ain't gonna happen, though.

Eberron's treatment of Dragons and alignment was definitely a step in the right direction.

I look at the picture and I see a group...in a Dungeon...fighting a Dragon and I think to myself that its perfect.

Its not that that doesn't sit with me. I think its the look of the dragon's head. *Shrugs*

Well, I think it would be a little better if they were getting their behinds handed to them (possibly flame-broiled) by the dragon...

I'm really thrilled by the art aspect of the FOURTH EDITION!!! I hope they use a lot of WAR art in the core books. He is the right man for the job IMO.

After consulting my Draconomicon, comparing that picture to the illustrations of the green and blue dragons in the example dragon section, I am wondering if they are A - Easing up on the physical description limits of dragons to make each one look more unique; or (hopefully) B - Killing the sacred cow of colour-coded dragon. That picture is so much cooler if that is a green 4e dragon rather than a 4e green dragon.
I don't disagree with you, but I would be really surprised if this was the case.
