OotS 498 is up

I think Roy just isn't "feeling" the passage of time the same way on the mountain. All those little things - getting hungry, thirsty, tired, having a tired butt from sitting on the boat too long - those aren't a problem on the mountain. Along with the sun shining all day (and there being no night, and no tiredness) I can totally see newcomers to the Mountain quickly losing track of time.

He isn't really that limited, he has made jokes about WotC being hyper-protective of their IP, but it's clear he can and does reference closed-content materials, he just chooses to stick close to the core the majority of the time.
I believe that Rich's work falls under the safe umbrella of parody.
 

I wonder if Rich is going to use this opportunity to make another black and white book covering the timeline for the other characters. Something like 28 Weeks Latter but for the D&D crowd.

On The Boat play out the politcal storylines form BattleStar Galatica 2006 (that is who needed a Marlin to make a point...)
