There is a mega-thread around here about playing in the WLD which discusses the advice the adventure provides as well as the house-rules that others have implemented. I highly recommend reading the thread to see how others have dealt with it.
You will certainly get "trap rooms, puzzle rooms, and the occasional weird-for-the-sake-of-weird rooms" in there.
