The body of the dead noble lies before you. The High Priest Banan stands in the room waiting to answer any questions that you may have.

Leyton moves to the door, holding it open.

"So, shall we continue on to the noble's residence? Shall we inspect the scene of this crime?"

High Priest Banan nods and escorts you back to the door of the church.

You follow your maps to the victim’s house.

When you enter the property you all begin looking around for things out of place. Out front of the house is a beautiful rose garden. As you approach a warforged who was tending the garden quickly moves out of the way and vanishes around the house. When you knock on the door a butler quickly answers, and he escorts you to the where the Baron's wife is reading.

"Oh! You startled me,” she puts the book down. “I am Saundra, the baron’s wife.” “What you gentlemen doing here?” she says with a very pretty smile.

Greeting Saundra with a nod, Tori explains "My apologies, we did not mean to startle you. I am Tori Fleet. My companions and I are here at the bequest of Captain Price."

"I am afraid it is not a pleasant matter which brings us here. We are investigating the death of the late Baron. I am very sorry for your loss. Might we take a look around, and perhaps ask you a few questions?"

Lark bows to the baroness, "Yes, please pardon us for disturbing you in your time of mourning. I must admit when they asked us to speak with the Barrons widow, I was not expecting you to be so young. I am sure it was difficult being married to a man so much older than yourself." [sblock] Diplomacy +19, Bluff +10, whichever you think is most appropriate :D [/sblock]

[sblock=JonnyFive] When you activate the ability you notice that no one in the room shows any sign of an evil aura.[/sblock]

When you fish-eye the room you seem to stare at her just a second too long. "Kind sir I would like if didn't look at me like that it frightens me so." Saundra says quite politely.

Turning to the eloquent young man Saundra starts in a very nice voice beginning to fan her face, “Well my kind sir I do believe you are making a pass at me,” she winks, “But the Baron was only a mere 5 years older than myself. Life was just harder on him.”

[sblock=MaverickWeirdo] Bluff +10+4 =14 Vs Sense Motive *+16=Higher than your bluff
She definitely knows what you were after with that sly remark :P [/sblock]

"I don't believe I will be of much use in being questioned for I was out of town only,"
she points to the butler, "Jeffery, my butler, was here along with Agatha my maid and Dig my gardener. They would be more than happy to answer questions you have for them." She ends with a nice little smile.

Actually there is something you could tell me that would be a great help. Replies Lark, Did you or the former baron have a finely wrought, full length, silver mirror?
