I went with Brutish because I dislike the PHB half-orc and prefer things like bugbears, goliaths, and half-ogres (and I don't think an LA race can be a tank race). In fact, two NPCs that adventure with the PCs in my current campaign off and on are a bugbear fighter and a half-ogre barbarian/cleric.

I'm rather fond of adding fey races, and attempting to allow medusa-ish and yuan'ti-ish races with mixed success. Snakes are cool, as long as you don't have to smell their poo.

Other. You have an option for a demonic race, but no option for an angelic or celestial one? Talk about discrimination :p.

A race with connections to light and positive energy would also be cool (my paladin bias is showing, I know ;)). I don't play World of Warcraft, but I from what I hear, the latest alliance race, the Draenei, will be something along those lines.

Other: pseudodragon.

I disagree with the brutish race votes, because I think that the way they're generally played is disruptive to campaigns...unless they're roleplayed against stereotype consistently, which leads to the "all PC drow are good" problem. Leave the monsters to the monsters; get your +2 to strength elsewhere.

I voted under the assumption that this was to add a race as close to the existing PHB races as possible.

Given that, I voted for the Brutish Race, specifically, the orc. If people can play humans, or half-orcs (where the other half is a human), then they should have the option of playing a full-blooded orc also presented right there.

I went brutish, meaning goblins.

I've always had a soft spot for gobbos. They're not evil, just misunderstood. And brutish, of course.

I'd like the PHB to be big/smalls of similar type. Thus, orc/goblin, elf/halfling, dwarf/gnome.
