WOLFCON II - NOV 24 & 25, 2006 CHICAGO

Hi Everyone,

I hope posting this won’t violate any group rules regarding posts. I just wanted to make everyone aware of the convention that the group I belong to, The Wolfpack, runs on Thanksgiving Weekend. We are looking for Judges and players.

Wolfcon II will be held in Chicago on November 24 - 25, 2006. If you are interested in running a game at the convention we would love to have you. Judges and Volunteers get admission to the con for any day that they run / work a one 4-hour event.

If you are interested in Volunteering or running an event you can Register as a Judge on the Wolfpack Website at Http://www.Wolfpackgamers.org or email me - William Murray at Etolehim@Yahoo.com. On-line Registration for both judges and players are currently open. Preregistration ends on November 1, 2006.

If you are submitting your own event you will need to have the following information available: Event name, Game Used, Judges name, event start time, event duration, event description, + any extra info you might want to give.

General start times for games are 10:00am, 2:00 pm, and 6pm for four hour games, and 10am, 12 Noon, 2pm, 4pm, 6pm, 8pm for two hour games. We look forward to hearing from you.

Wolfcon Board Game Library's Tentative List

Hey Everyone,

Wolfcon would like your opinion. Here is a list of Board games that we are thinking of having in the Games Library & Schedule at Wolfcon this year. It is rather a large list of titles. I'd like some feedback so we can whittle it down a bit and get a better idea of what people want to see.

As a local chapter of GB7 we will be borrowing these games from their massive Games Library so if there is a game you don't see on the list that you might like let us know and it is possible that we might be able to get it. Also which of these games would you like to see as tournaments.

For those of you who are going to Wolfcon or are thinking about it - Parking around the Church may be a little tight as it is in a residential area.
