Thinking about Charles' discussion about the ins and outs of whether Macs are supported by the DI and VTT, I thought it might be interesting to have a straw poll of ENworlders (who visit the 4e forum (who are interested in the poll)) and find out what *our* gaming groups actually work out like.

My gaming group is 100% PC/Windows, for instance.

If there is 1 or more people in your group who use an O/S which doesn't support the DI/Virtual TableTop, could you make a note of what it is here?

The idea of my three poll options is that option 1 could potentially just use it, option 3 can never use it, and option 2 get the tricky situation that 1 (or more) members of the group could be seriously disadvantaged.

out of my potential player pool (everyone I know who games, regardless if they game with me right now) I have 1 mac user (with boot camp) and one dual boot Vista/Linux. Everyone else is Windows XP or Vista.

Oh boy, complex answer. I (the DM!) am on a mac, and have access to linux @ work. In my currently-in-person group, none of them use laptops, but if they did, they'd be on XP (one of them has a desktop instead of a laptop, one of them has a few servers instead of a desktop!)

In my PbP here at Enworld, I have one poster on Vista, the rest on XP. So we're not just disadvantaged; I'm *currently sabotaging* the ability of the games to go online : )

Currently "1 or more", though I wouldn't be surprised if--within a year--it became "everyone".

Everyone I know has Windows. I don't know of one single person that owns a Mac. I've never seen one other than in stores.

I always laugh when someone has known me for a while & has assumed that I use Windows.

I only use a Mac at work.

At home I use a PC, as does the rest of my group.

I have three groups at the moment; two of them are 100% PC, so I voted for that option, but in the third group there is one Mac user.
