16th level dwarven fighter

OK folks,
I'm attaching a fighter that I spent way too long on.

#1 Please let me know if you find anything wrong rules-wise
#2 Any optimization comments are welcome
#3 Any character sheet improvements welcome.

What I've learned is that doing a good job with one of these takes a while. Lots of typing for one.

Some calculations:
* Healing surge is HP/4+6(Dwarven durability) +1 (item)=37
* Attack is +8 (level) +5 (str) +1 (fighter) +3 (item) +2 (prof)
* Ranged attack assumes throwing hammer.
* AC is 11 (warplate) +4 (magic) +1 (feat) +2 (shield) +8 (level) +10 (base)

Thanks,

Mark

Cool, looks time consuming. The only thing I noticed on a quick look-over was that the initiative should be +9 (dex modifier + (1/2)level). But I'm not totally clear on the level up rules yet myself, so I could have missed plenty.

Thanks,
I'll fix that and the lack of perception checks...

Anyone have any other comments?

I don't get the complaints about multi-classing. I mean, your guy seems like a decent Fighter/Cleric, what with the Cleric weapon power. Since powers and a couple of class features are all a class is, getting a couple powers seems to give a fair bit of the class. The advantages over older multi-classing is you get the better HP.

So, are the Paragon multi-classing things bad, or was Iron Vanguard just more what you were looking for?

My only suggestion is that you might want to put healing word in the dailies, just for conveniences sake.

Yeah, it works fairly well. I had to avoid any WIS attacks or implement attacks, but that wasn't too hard.

I really think the Paragon multi-classing is pretty weak. The special paragon abilities (not powers) are really quite powerful, and you really don't get anything to make up for them.

I agree with moving the healing word. Good idea.

Yeah, that makes sense, really, the Paragon paths you get access too from multiclassing gives you the feeling of being the second class without giving up the cool abilities. Your guy sorta ends up being like a Warlord, with the being able to scoot your friends around, and the Clerics healing. Cool character.
