Dragon Mountain

We just went through my old roommates from college stuff and I found my unopened Dragon Mountain box, so I started looking at it.

Has anyone converted it? If so, how difficult a conversion was it?

I have never attempted anything this large, so what advice do you have, as far as PC levels, and monster stuff...

For the conversion, I would look at the end Monster and see what it's CR would be in 3.5 edition and from that point look at the other encounters and see if they have a change to increase in levels during the adventure, before they encounter the end monster.
So if the end monster is CR 18 and the party has a change to increase in level, say 2 levels before the end, the starting level for the party would be 15 or 16.

I too came across a complete (i think) box set of dragon mountain, and was asked by the owner of the set to convert it to 3.5e and run it for him and his friends.

I would also be interested in existing conversions of it or tips on converting it (never converted anything before...)
