Fellowship of the Ring Music

I know that Howard Shore composed the music for LOTR: The Fellowship of the Ring. There was a really cool operatic piece that was in both trailers of The Fellowship... and it was not in the movie. Does anyone know where the music was from?

This site has a list of all of the pieces used in the trailers and teasers.

It has several pieces listed, so you'll have to sort through them to find the right one.

I'm pretty sure that the one you are looking for is "Gothic Power" by Christopher Field. It's the main operatic piece. You can download a low-quality version of it here: http://files.elitegames-mag.net/Lor...railer (Christopher Field - Gothic power).mp3

Sadly, the piece itself if fairly short (only about 1:40). It's good, though.

It was called "Mother Africa", from "The Power of One". If I remember correctly, it was composed by... James Horner? Some popular soundtrack composer. You can find it on Amazon.

That's right, Hans Zimmer...

and I'm pretty sure you're wrong, as a co-worker has the Power of One CD and played "Mother Africa - Reprise" for me, and it WAS in the trailer. The big powerful music that rises as Gandalf shouts "You... shall not... PASS!!"

EDIT: Having just downloaded "Gothic Power", well.. that's it. It's the same thing that was played for me from the Power of One CD, so I don't know what the deal is with that. Shruggedy.
