Advice on my Homebrew Races

I am working on a homebrew campaign setting and I made up a few new races. Take a look at them and tell me if they look ok to you. Thanks! :)

Lizard Folk

Your basic lizardman.

Abilities: +2 Strength, -2 Intelligence
Medium Sized
Movement: 30 feet
+2 Natural Armor
+3 racial bonus to Swim and Leap skill checks
Natural weapon: Bite (1d4 damage)
Hold Breath (can hold its breath for a number of rounds equal to four times his constitution score without risk of drowning.)
Favored Class: Hunter

The desert variety of Lizard Folk has the Endurance feat instead of Hold Breath and it loses the racial bonus to Swim checks.


Chucou

A tree dwelling humanoid reptile.

Abilities: +2 Dexterity, -2 Constitution
Small Size
Movement 30 feet
+8 racial bonus to Balance and Climb skill checks.
Can take 10 with Balance and Climb even if distracted.
+2 racial bonus to any one Craft Skill and Spot skill checks.
Low Light Vision
Favored Class: Guardian


Xill

A four armed savage humanoid of the plains and deserts.

Abilities: +2 Constitution, -2 Wisdom
Medium Sized
Movement: 30 feet
Natural Weapons: 4 Claws (1d3 damage).
Multi-Weapon Fighting
+2 Racial bonus to Climb and Ride skill checks.
Favored Class: Fighter


Pygmy Folk

A small furred humanoid that lives in the deep jungle.

Abilities: -2 Strength, +2 Dexterity.
Small Size
Movement 20 feet
+3 racial Bonus to Move Silently and Listen skill checks.
Poison use
Craft (Poison) is a class skill.
Low Light Vision
+1 racial bonus to attack rolls with Blowguns and Short Bows.
Favored Class: Scout

Nice they all look balanced to me and I particularily like the Chucou *Yoink* (although I'm confused why a Craft skill)

Can I suggest however that you simply give a Chucou a Climb speed (Movement: Climb 30) (rather than the +8 to Balance and Climb skill checks and can always take 10)

When I was going over the race in my mind I figured that they were good with their hands, hence they were good craftsmen. So I added the craft bonus. :)

As for the Climb, I look at the stats for a Monkey and Ape in the Monster Manual and that's how they handled their climbing abilities.

Regarding the Chucou: Small creatures have a default base speed of 20', not 30'. Think carefully before upping the speed - the slower move is one of the drawbacks of being small.

I think your right about the Chucou's movement. So I changed it to 20 feet. I am not sure about it's Low Light Vision and it's Claws. I dropped the damage to 1d3 but I think I might just get rid of it all together.

Personally I'd leave the Spd at 30 (Goblins are small and have speed 30) and it makes senses for an Arboreal creature to be small and quick (like a monkey).

I agree you should drop the claw attack entirely but keep lowlight vision

(NB when I use it I'm probably going to add proto-feathery down and have it look something like this:

Kobolds are small with a speed of 30 also. Ok, I am going to drop the claw attack. I am still thinking on their speed.

I love the picture. Here is my inspiration for the Chucou.

I noticed that three of the four races had a dexterity bonus. So I am changing the Xill's bonus ability to Constitution. They are a more war like race so a bonus CON will work better for them.
