14th frenzied Bexerker w/ a +3 B-Sword = about +48 to damage per blow +1d10

1/2 Ork Barbarian at 1st level 20 str
at 4th goes to 21
at 8th 22
12th 23
+10 for fenzied attack = a 33 str
and bulls str +4 = 37 strength

this 1/2 Orc Barbarian prestiged into a Frenzied Bezerker
give this guy a two handed weapon = x 2 str instead of the usual x 1 1/2 = +26 damage.
add +3 for magic of weapon = +29 damage
add wep spec 2+29 = 31
and the 2 feats in the Complete Warrior that allows -6 to hit = +18 to damage per strike
+18+26 = +44 +1d10 to damage per hit.
and if the party Wizard or Cleric Bull strength him he will have a 41 str and be doing +48 damage per blow.

Can any one match this? Is this insane?
I intoduced above Frenzied Bezeerker as a Vampire.....never again! He almost killed the entire group single handedly!

I think you already have a Bull's Strength factored in to get to 37 strength.
What would the Attack bonus be when doing this?

YOu have to have 4 levels of fighter (or have the right prestige class, etc.)to get Weapon Specialization; I don't believe Frenzied Berserker has that as a class ability. Is this a barbarian/fighter?

You already added +4 for bull's strength.

-6 to hit, thats it!

for a -6 to hit he gets +18 to damage, I forgot the feats but they are in the coplete warrior

A few quick errors:

You added in Bull's Strength twice.
The half-orc will not have enough feats to enter the PrC at level 7. She will have to wait until level 9, so the bonuses due to Frenzy will be less at level 14
Weapon Specialization is only available to a fighter, not to a barbarian.
The 3/1 PA ratio is an ability of the PrC, not a feat.

Overall, this character build is slightly sloppy, which makes some of the end results appear worse than they actually are. It also relies on a couple of factors that aren't always available (18 stat to start, casters always willing to buff you), and is only possible a couple of times a day.

Well built FBs can deal out quite a lot of damage, but the damage factor isn't broken (possibly a little overpowered, but not to the point of breaking the game). What's broken is the Deathless Frenzy ability, and the fact that Frenzy is unstoppable. For personal reasons, I also dislike the Power Attack abilities they get. In real gameplay, FBs will hurt the group more than they help (especially if you face a caster with Charm Person. Low will saves are killers).

37 not 41 I doubled bull strength

Yes for the feats he had to start off as a 1st level fighter thru 4th, just so he would have a few more feats. Incidentally I introduced this fighter/barb/frenzied bezerker as a human vampire.....WOW put a two handed weapon in his hands and a bite every once in a while..I think WOW! covers it best.

You already added +4 for bull's strength.

I have a half-giant barbarian 7 that dual wields greataxes.
He has a 30 STR when raging, unbuffed.
d12+10 & d12+5 & 1d12+10 = 28-41 damage per round.
His only equipment: Adamantine Axes, belt pouch, cloak. Bracelet of Frost Giant Strength (+8, giant type only)

Now I just need Greater Rage and some magic items.
worked the LA on Half-Giants down to +0 with my DM.

It's really not that bad. To qualify with the abilities you have, it's Ftr 4/Brb2/FrB 8. That means a single rage, uncanny dodge.

Str: 20 + 3 (levels) + 10 (greater frenzy) + 4 (rage) + 4 (bull's str) = 41 Str

So that's +20 to damage x 1.5 for a two-handed weapon = +30
max power attack = 14 x 3 = +42

Attack bonus: +14 (BAB) + 20 (Str) + 1 (WF) + 3 (weapon) - 14 (power attack = +23
Total damage: +30 (Str) + 42 (power attack) + 3 (weapon) + 2 (specialization) = +77

And I'm not even trying to use feats like leap attack or others that increase your damage further. Or inherit bonuses or a girdle of giant strength +6. You can really bring the pain.

It's almost as good as a cleric of the same level! ;)

So that's +20 to damage x 1.5 for a two-handed weapon = +30

41 Str = +15 to hit/dmg, not +20. So it's +22 w. a two-handed weapon.

Me personally, every FB I have seen/played with died quite ignobly within a few combat scenarios. The first failed his save and started attacking the party... I believe the party wizard disintegrated him. The last one went down surrounded by some very pissed-off girallons. It was ugly. When I first read about FBs I thought "Holy crap those are cool, I can't wait to try my hand at one of 'em!!!"

Now, after having seen them in action, I can't honestly think of a class I'd rather play less.
