1st Level DM looking for 1st level adventure

So, my wife is thinking about taking a level in DM and is looking for a 1st level 3.5 adventure to run as a learning experiance. She doesn't want to do alot of conversions, since this about her learning to run a game, so a 3.0 adventure that might require a lot of upgrade is out. We have all or almost all of the last few years of Dungeon and are willing to buy pdfs or print products as needed. She has looked at the free ones on WotC and didn't care for them. She also wants it to be something that I don't have a lot of familiarity with, thats why I am asking for suggestions.

Any recomendations? Please give Title, source (links if appropriate), and what you thought of it w/o spoliers.

And before I forget: She is a proffesional print publication editor. Lots of errors are going to send her into fits. Editorial quality is something to keep in mind.

As always, thanks for the community effort.

There is a 3.5 version of the Wizards Amulet free to dowload at Necromancer Games, alternatively they have Lost City of Barakus, but that is a much more substantial product (more of a mini campaign).

Check out The Wizard's Amulet by Necromancer Games.

Its the perfect intro module IMO. It's 3.0 but still holds up well under the revision. Nec Games modules are classic feel and do require some thinking on the part of the players. Run in, hack, and slash style play will probably lead to a severly beat up party.

If you have the Eberron Campaign Setting book, I'd recommend using The Forgotten Forge (the adventure at the end of the book). It's simple, short, and straightforward, but still interesting and enjoyable.
