Well, them Duke boys have done it again.​

I'm hoping that the release of the movie later this year marks the beginning of the end of some old prejudices and stereotypes, with all of the pop culture flash and updated soundtrack (certain to include at least one rap and/or r&b song - probably more with Jessica Simpson cast as Daisy.) I can't wait to see homies in my town riding around in tricked out low-rider underlit versions of the General Lee (ala what happened after The Fast and The Furious), including a big ole Confederate flag on top - and the looks of disbelief and frustration on the faces of people who see that flag as some sort of racist symbol!

You may say I'm a dreamer. But I'm not the only one.

Now, now. As someone with 4 times as many posts as me, you should know better.

Besides, it rises every time the good ole General Lee jumps something. Then, comes back down again.

As much as it might not be a racist symbol, it's certainly not one of inclusion and acceptance either.

If you believe that, then neither is the US flag. Throughout the history of the US, non-inclusion groups have used the US flag while they promote their message of hatred. In fact, you could say that for most flags in the world.
