Running Tank Girl:1066 & CyberPunk at GenCon?

So, after posting about Tank Girl 1066 in the Ravenloft Samurai Kender thread, I got a couple of emails asking about the setting of TG1066.

So... I'm considering running two games at GenCon this year. CyberPunk and TG1066.

CyberPunk I've got the module all written for and ready to run.

TG1066 is easy to throw something together.

So, anyone interested in TG1066?

So, you've got a team of free-loading mercenaries with spring-loaded bastard swords, fully-automatic skin-reversing crossbows and crowbars riding in chariots (mostly girls, but a guy and a stuffed animal thrown into the mix), a few mutant kangaroos thrown in for good measure, and have them ride around pseudo-medieval England, interacting with barbarians, picts, ancient druidic plots, armies of invading frenchmen, and a general lack of good beer.

Or at least cold beer.

In the high fantasy edition, add in Robin Hood (and his men in Tights), a bumbling King Arthur, the unseelie court, dwarves, elves, sorcery, a dragon, some guy called George who keeps looking for the dragon...

And still a lack of cold beer.

Don't they refrigerate their darn beer in Jolly Ol' England?!??

Tank Girl 1066? That's ...different. But I'm game to try anything.

Maybe you should set it 1000 years earlier. Boudicca and her forces actually used chariots I believe.

Jake, I've never had a chance to game with you. Or Russ. If not this, we certainly need to get some sort of game with us together in it at GenCon. I've only seen the Tank Girl movie once, and never the comics, but that by itself was pretty fun.

Adventuring for the sake of beer is always fun. It's taken me 23 years, but I've finally started to see the appeal of beer. (The actual day I realized that appeal was January 1st this year, after I brought Jaeger and Vodka to a drinking game.)

Tank Girl 1066 sounds hysterical!
