Crab of lore: Cancer

I'm basing this off the old belief that cancer was a crab that lived inside its victim, tearing around and eating its victims fron within.

Still unsure of its infect ability and open to suggestions.

Cancer appears as a large, platter-sized crab of a murky brownish-green color. Its entire form seems misproportioned and slightly skewed. Its thick, armored shell is flat and has a cruel assortment of serrated edges and spines along the edge. One overly long arms ends in a glinting, stabbing claw that reaches out from its front section, while the other is tiny and atrophied. It is supported by eight segmented legs, all of slighty differet lengths, that come to a needle-sharp point. From its front grow a pair of vicious mouth parts, made for tearing. Partially within the shell peer two tiny eyes, blazing redly with malevolence.

A plague embodied, these demons have plagued the world since time inmememorable, digging into their flesh and causing intense pain and suffering for many years, lengthening the torture for as long as possible before its victim dies.

Combat:
Cancer prefers to approach with stealth and latch onto their victims and infecting them. If this proves unsuccessful they will prod and pierce at the victim and try to grab hold boldly. If the odds are against the crabbish demon it will quickly flee, and follow its prey in secret, waiting for an opening.

Amphibious (Ex):
Cancer can breath as comfortably underwater as it does on land.

Diseased Touch (Ex):
Every hit by Cancer deals 1d4 disease damage as the wound grows unhealthy looking and the skin about it becomes lumpy and thickened. Unless a DC 16 fortitude save is made, this damage does not heal unless the area is cut out, which deals an additional 1d4 damage.

Infect (Su):
If cancer succeeds on a grapple check it can attempt to burrow into its victim's flesh (normally the midsection). The target must make a DC 16 fortitude check or cancer disapears within, dealing 2d6 nonlethal damage and causing the victim to become Nauseated for 1d6 minutes. The wound appears to close immediately behind the crab, but this is only the beginning of its cruelty. The host must now make a DC 20 will save or be Shaken for the rest of the day.

For the rest of its life the victim faces a tumult of pains and affects. Each day the target may make a DC 16 fortitude check to fend off that day's affects, but this does not get rid of the beast within.

Day 1-4:
Each day the victim takes 1 permanent points of Strength damage, 1 point of unhealable lethal damage per day that cannot be healed naturally, and is sickened all day.

Day 5-9:
Cancer has moved into the legs of the victim, and takes 1 point of dexterity damage per day, 1 point of unhealable lethal damage, and is sickened all day.

Day 10-14:
Cancer has moved into the chest of the victim, and takes 2 permanent points of constitution damage per day, 1 point of unhealable lethal damage that cannot be healed naturally, and is sickened and fatigued all day.

Day 15-19:
Cancer moves into the head of the victim, whom takes 2 permanent points of intelligence damage per day, 1 point of unhealable lethal damage, and is nauseated

Day 20+:
Cancer has infiltrated every part of the victim and is filled with horrendous pain, dealing 1d4 lethal damage per day, and is nauseated.

Cancer cannot be driven out by healing potions or spells, though any damage is has caused can be healed. The creature itself can only be driven out by Dispell Evil/Chaos, and its host entering a Magic Circle Against Evil/Chaos. The demon is not killed by these, and will attempt to reinfect its victim as soon as possible. Dictum and Holy Word directed at the host will kill the cancer.
