Q-Ship: The Interview

If you play in Q-Ship, go away!

With that out of the way, those of you who read the Q-Ship story hour will be familiar with the 'DVD extras' that accompany each episode. One of the extras on the second disc is going to be an interview with the cast members, ostensibly filmed back when the show was on the air and dug out of archives by the BBC.

Having this 'interview' was actually Archie's player's idea, and he suggested that it would be fun for the people who read the SH to supply the questions for the interview.

So, if you could ask the 'actors' any question about the 'show' that you liked, what would it be? :)

Questions can be directed at a specific cast member, or to the cast as a whole, whichever you prefer. You can even ask the cast to speculate on plot developments and such. I'll pass the questions on, collect the answers, and format them into an interview format for inclusion after the end of the current episode.

Astral Admin - Mwahahaha!
Archie, did it ever bother you that the other actors were universally recognised and acclaimed, but you never recieved the same credit because we didn't see your face
(like when they missed you out on the Parkinson interview?)

By 'show' I assume you mean episode?

Answers will be limited to season 1 episodes, of course - the players can't comment on seasons 2 or 3, yet :)

A question for the actress who plays S'ondra:

There's been a lot of debate in feminist circles about S'ondra's role in the modern, post-masculine societal paradigm. Some see her as a standard bearer for feminism; uncompromising, intellegent, and every bit as capable as her masculine counterparts. A modern day Bodicca with her own powerful lance, she has no need for the offerings of the sweaty, hairy, grunting male gender...

[The interviewer pauses, adjusts her thick glasses and looks at the aghast faces of her fellow reporters. She shifts, embarrased, from one sensible loafer to the other. Taking a deep breath, she continues.]

Others see S'ondra as a cheap opportunity for T&A and endless tight space uniforms and furry native bikinis.

What do you think?

Note to self: as a chaser to KidC's question, PirateCat wants to know if S'Ondra's actress has ever had a 'wardrobe malfunction' on set.

Good to see he's thinking about the show's important social issues, too :D
