Has anyone ever heard of this?

My website's domain was supposed to renew automatically ... But it didn't. Four days with my website down, barely a word from support, and I get this whenever I go to my site!

Does anyone know why I'm getting Whois.sc? Who are they? Did they snap up my domain name as soon as it supposedly expired? How can I get it back if they did?

First off, here's that other thread you may have forgotten -

http://www.enworld.org/showthread.php?t=126903

Anyway, that page is one of those placeholders that goes up when your domain is down. If you don't owe money to your webhost, they are probably just experiencing difficulties. I like the service I linked to in that other thread. You might want to change hosts. The one I use has an 800 number that is serviced 24/7 and that is peace of mind I prefer.

I did a search to see who owns your domain, and it says you still do ( http://www.whois.com/nonssl/WhoisLookup.aspx?dnl=shellcatstudio.com ) but you might want to keep on that to be sure. Try to contatc that sales email ( sales@pixiehost.com ) if others haven't been working or check through their whole website and CC everyone until you get some answers ( http://www.pixiedomain.com
).

Also, it looks like www.enom.com is your registrar of record. If they're pointing the wrong place - possibly because they failed to renew your registration properly and they point lapsed names at some search engine that makes them a little money (which is what it looks like) - then they can get that part straight. I believe I would ask what they intend to offer you to rectify their error, too, if it is their problem - a free year of registration, or what-have-you - because it would be pretty slack for them to have changed where it points (which requires work) and failed to have noticed it should auto-renew, when they could have just let it be (no work) and got things right. :]
