AFAIK, yes. For a while now too.

About the only d20 thing FFG is involved in these days is Midnight and that's going OGL.

Midnight is remaining a d20 game. I believe that Grimm is moving to OGL.

it is dead and gone. There are no further plans to realease any new books for this line. This is pretty standard operation for FFG. They put out a real good setting (dawn forge & dragonstar) with a couple supliments and then pull the plug. That's why I refuse to buy any thing but Midnight from their d20 line (They seem to keep releasing new stuff on a regular basis).

But the reason they pulled the plug, at least on DragonStar, is that they couldn't afford to keep putting out supplements for it - not enough people were buying it.

Pity, too.... I really liked the setting, and own all the books they did publish for it.

Once again, a good reason to purchase the books for the companies you like.... support them!

That's what I was afraid of. *sigh* Wasn't Mystic Eye putting out supplements for them as well? Did they go under?

They made two or three adventures but that was all they wer ever goinjg to do. As for the comapny, they have had some internal health problems but hopefully will be back once the health issues improve.

I did support FFG with Dawn Forge & Dragonstar and have all the books for both of them amd most of Midnight. You are right though players who really like FFG stuff should buy it or it will go under.

I live 2 miles away from FFG HQ and even know a couple of the guys that work there. They are a small company that can't afford to publish games that just break even. That is understandable with the way the RPG market is right now. I think their biggest problem is marketing though. From what I hear they are looking to fill a marketing position so that they have atleast one person who's focus will be on marketing. I don't think there is any issue with the quality of their d20 products (settings anyway) they just don't seen to get the press that other companies get.

I thought Grimm was already OGL and was moving to its own, unique system. I also thought Midnight was remaining d20 though.

I could be wrong of course.
