Looks like a neat family film. :)

Synopsis: When you're the son of the world's most legendary superheroes The Commander (Kurt Russell) and Jetstream (Kelly Preston), there is only one school for you - Sky High, an elite high school that is entrusted with the responsibility of molding today's power-gifted students into tomorrow's superheroes. The problem is that Will Stronghold (Michael Angarano) isn't starting with any superpowers, so he finds himself relegated to the role of "Sidekick." Surviving his freshman year becomes a difficult challenge, but when an evil villain threatens his family, friends and the very sanctity of Sky High, Will must use his newfound superpowers to save the day.

Starring: Kurt Russell, Kelly Preston, Lynda Carter, Michael Angarano, Danielle Panabaker, Bruce Campbell

I hope they are crediting Aaron Williams who does the comic PS 238. Since that's exactly the plot for one of his characters (though his powers haven't manifested yet, if any).

Kurt Russel, Lynda Carter AND Bruce Campbell?

Man, time to get my sleeping bag dry-cleaned. I'll be camping out for this one. :)

stupid star wars threads made me miss this.

i've been waiting for this trailer since I heard about the movie and it looks better than expected.

Racknir, I've never read PS 238, but I can list about 238 other comic books with the same exact plot. In the last few years, its become cool to go retro and tell all these coming of age stories. The most popular one right now is probably Invincible, but there are dozens.

Racknir does have a point about PS238. Yes, there are many, many coming of age stories, but PS238 is about a child of superhero parents who goes to a special school for superheroes. He doesn't have any powers yet so he feels left out but eventually he finds himself. Sound familiar? ;)
