Iron Lore to Iron Heroes

Legal snafu, at least from some company named Iron Lore Gaming or something like that.

Even though the name isn't IP, it was semi-set for trade marking.

I know very little about this product, but IMO the name "Iron Heroes" sounds 100 percent better than "Iron Lore" (the latter sounds like a manual for weaponsmiths).

Good point there. I missed a lot of the early threads about Iron Lore because I thought it was a book about weapons or something that I would have no interest in.

You aren't the only one. ;)

Thanks, that makes me feel a lot less dumb. The first Iron Lore thread I actually read was full of people in depth debating this stuff like they knew what was going on and I was totally lost.

And the former sounds like a brand of cereal, but I agree it's an improvement.

EDIT--Now we just gotta get someone to sue over the inappropiately-named "Archer" and "Hunter" classes.
