I didn't announce when I had 100 posts, not when I got to 200, but now......

Yes, it does! Thats why I have two rocks with EN painted on one and World painted on the other. I always keep them together on my desk!

It's a programming term. When you want to increment a variable for a number you type [variable name]=[variable name]+1. So if postcount equals one and then you say postcount=postcount+1, postcount now equals 2. And so one, and so on, and so on, ad infinitum.
