d20 Fantasy in Colonial America?

Ok, someone help me out here as my Google-fu is weak today. I remember a preview here on ENWorld of a new d20 book coming out in the next few months that was set in 18th century colonial America. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? I'd like to get the name and the release date so I can keep an eye out for it. Thanks.

It is indeed Northern Crown. The books (two of 'em: New World Adventures (rules) and New World Gazeteer (setting)) are coming out in August.

Adamant Entertainment has the license to produce support products, which we're kicking off with a free, full-length adventure in PDF, written by Northern Crown creator Doug Anderson: "The Caves of Chisca", which will be available for download from our site at the beginning of August.

After that, we're planning a full slate of support releases in PDF and print (although most likely available via direct sales, rather than through distribution), including a quarterly magazine of Northern Crown tidbits, called "Franklyn's Almanack."

Is this the setting otherwise known as Septrionalis? SCORE! I've been waiting for this!

And Atlas?! Awesome! They have a knack for taking d20 to new settings (cf: Nyambe!)

AWESOME.

This is the first I've heard of the product, and it has my curiosity piqued. I'm a big fan of R.E. Howard's Solomon Kane yarns, so I could see this getting some use, maybe even integrating it with the mechanics of the Conan RPG.

Septentrionalis (the original designation of the North American continent on early maps). Atlas correctly surmised that aside from history geeks like myself (and Doug, obviously), nobody would remember that, or spell it right. :D

Currently, the support that we're developing for the setting includes:
  • The Caves of Chisca -- the free intro adventure
  • Franklyn's Almanack -- Quarterly magazine of support articles and short adventures (first issue coming in September).
  • Spectral Boston -- supplement detailing the city of Boston. Puritans vs. witches and devils....very Solomon Kane. (Coming in October)
  • ...plus two more as-yet untitled adventures.

....and that's just for the rest of 2005!

I was lucky enough to download lots of the Spetentrionalis material when it was still Dougs online fan site and imho it was awesome and definately the BEST treatment of 17th Century material I've seen.

That it has been updated ready for commercial release bodes well. Solomon Kane fits in perfectly and apparently Northern Crown exists in the same world as Nyambe so it could easily be done.

amongst the material I downloaded were adventures involving the haunting of Boston, Ghouls in the graveyard and gunrunning amongst the Shawnee (iirc). There was also a great supplementary material on the Sea Hawk and Ships Crews (for your swashbuckling Bucaneer campaign)

GMSkarka is the Sea Hawk material being included in Northenr Crown?
and other than undead and demons - what are the monsters like?
