In that thread, I brought up the idea of a bunch of us all running the same module in our campaigns or as a one shot. The idea is that one of the great things about RPGs is the shared experience and to do that we need a shared experience ie module.

So, now we need nominations to choose what module we will all run. Please make sure the module can be run in one or two sessions. Please include the name, publisher, levels characters need to be, and price of the module. Many people will probably have to go get the module so price can be an issue. Make sure the module is 3.5 d20 Other then that, let the nominations begin. after a few days we'll vote on it.

How about something from Dungeon? Part of the fun would be looking at how a DM preps the module. It'll be interesting to see how that works out with something that wasn't designed as a one-shot.

Alternatively, a free adventure from the WotC site is easy for everyone to get, plus there's a wide range of levels to choose from.

Which Dungeon Crawl Classics are 3.5?

  • It looks like at the very least, #3 on are 3.5, and there is a 3.5 version of #1

Which free Online Adventures at WotC are 3.5:

I made a non-exhaustive list, focusing on levels 7-12:

Are 3.5
  • Bad Moon Waning (appears to be one of the earliest 3.5)
  • Cave of Spiders
  • A Dark and Stormy Knight
  • Fait Acompli
  • Lest Darkness Rise
  • Tower in the Ice
  • To Quell the Rising Storm
  • Shrine of the Feathered Serpent.

NOT 3.5
  • Almost anything by Monte Cook or Sean K. Reynolds (except for Tarus's Banquet, which requires Libris Mortis), I suspect.
  • Crumbling Hall of the Frost Gian Jarl
  • Environmental Impact
  • Harvest of Evil
  • Into the Frozen Waste
  • Road to Oblivion
  • The Sea Witch
  • Shoals of Intrigue
  • Start at the End
  • Temple of Redcliff
  • Tiger's Palace
  • Treasure of the Black Veils

That said, CMG has a few PDFs for the adventures that ENWorld came up with. If ENWorld wrote it, it would be cool to think of what we thought of it.

Do you think the fact that people here contributed to it would make too many prospective players familiar with it? Edit: Or have already run it?

That might be a prob with the Wizards freebies too, but I think it wouldn't be a big issue in either case.
