Adamant Entertainment, the Origins Award nominated and ENnie Honorable Mention design studio, will be donating 100% of our sales for the month of September to the Red Cross to aid in relief efforts in the disastrous wake of Hurricane Katrina.
I grew up on the east coast, and lived through several hurricanes, and remember how much work is required for recovery. I was also living in the NYC metro area during 9/11, and was honored to take part in the game industry's fundraising efforts that followed. Given that, donating all of our sales for the month of September struck me as something that we could do that would get funds to the organizations that are on the ground helping, and get it to them in a reasonable time frame. Many of our freelance writers will be donating their royalties for the month as well.
