Kalli:
[SBLOCK]
*There is a light knock on the door leading to the room where Kalli lies in chains, restraints that feel as if they weigh down both her body and her soul.*

*A short while after, a sad-looking Praetorian man enters the room, his eyes getting teary as he sees Kalli's pitiful condition, chained there, badly hurt and scarred. Sitting down on the hard stone floor he looks towards her with compassion and speaks in quiet Seelie:*

"Hello, Kallithyia...My name is Catullus. Is it alright with you if we talk? If you'd rather not, then I will leave, but I want to help you."

Kallithyia: Palmaid/Female (Amazon)

RA[sblock]* In Kallithyia’s sad, but fiercely determined, emerald green eyes that name had no meaning. She had died years ago, or so it felt, her dignity still intact as no man had been upon her then or maybe she had breathed her last gasp when she had killed her last sister off in the arena only days/weeks ago. It didn’t matter how. It only matted that it had happened… *

* Kallithyia looked upon the stranger without curiosity only suspicion, she was a caged animal, therefore she was unpredictable, and he had been foolish to venture to close. If she had been unchained she would have been atop of him, trying as only the desperate could to rip an artery free with her bare teeth or hands. Luckily, for this dog before she was chained and could only manage to spit at him with all her disgust and revulsion… *

* Kallithyia took pride in noting that her spit had hit him squaring in the face and why not? In this dark hell it might be the only thing worth having pride in. *

* Of course Kallithyia had heard his words and she studied him carefully because of them but they hadn’t surprised her. Men had offered her salvation before. That they wanted nothing more than to help her escape her chains but when she refused to give herself to them they simply told their friends to hold her down, to forced her legs asunder, and them the horrible pain, suffering, and humiliation would begin in. *

* The painful memories made her watched him like a caged animal, her eyes narrowed and inflamed with anger. Chained she couldn’t fight him off but if he was foolish in his dealing with her she had no calms in biting for veins or biting fingers, and other appendages completely off… *[/sblock]

*Wiping the spit from his face, Catullus continues speaking:*

"Well, you didn't say no...I can only say that what has been done to you is an atrocity, and I will not stand for such a thing. I will see you free, and I do not ask anything of you, especially that which the others have forced upon you...There isn't much that I can do just yet, but I will get you out soon. The most I can do right now is this."

*He flicks his fingers, and Kalli feels the filth that bedecks her once-magnificent body sloughing away.*

"I would heal you too, but I'm not going to touch you in any way without your permission."

Kallithyia: Palmaid/Female (Amazon)

RA: [sblock]* The lack of anger bothered Kallithyia, she had expected that, she knew how to react to that, this was unknown and that never breed trust. *

* The filth falling from her scared form did little to relieve Kallithyia’s anxiety, being cleaned was the first thing man always did. ‘He might force her in the dirt but he wouldn’t do dirt,’ was how she viewed it and now her form was clean and she felt very exposed. *

* As much as she fought it Kallithyia’s emerald eyes showed her fear, while her arms covered her beasts, at least as far as the chains would go, and she locked her ankles together. Her cheeks might be wet as she scooted as far from the man as she could. She breathed hard, more like an anxious caged animal than a nymph as she tried to hold her tears back. *

“Noooo,” she whimpered pathetically, the firmness she wanted was all but missing so she tried again with mixed results, “no…” [/sblock]

Kallithyia: Palmaid/Female (Amazon)

RA: [sblock]“Okay,” Kallithyia said softly, her voice still betraying her pain evident, but she still kept herself braced against the filthy wall and as far away from Catullus as her bonds would allow her to go. She looked upon him fearfully expecting him to some others to hold her down any second.[/sblock]

*Seeing Kalli's discomfort, Catullus moves to the opposite corner of the room, so that she can have as much space as possible.*

"I am truly sorry that such terrible things have been done to you. I am also sorry that it seems that there is nothing more I can do for you right now because you will not let me help you...But I understand if you don't want someone touching you. I'll have you free soon, but is there anything I can do for you right now?"

Kallithyia: Palmaid/Female (Amazon)

RA: [sblock]“Help me?” the Palmaid retorted angrily, Kallithyia had recovered, her voice once again firm as she studied him from afar, “no man helps! Man comes in two types! Those that come in packs and take what they want! The other is worse, he comes alone, promises to be helpful, he talks sweetly, but he still calls friends when he doesn’t he what he wants and he leaves more than just a battered body in his wake!”

She spat in his general direction at the idea before bring her eyes, once again fierce and proud to his, “if you truly offer me mercy you will slit my throat right now…” [/sblock]

Kalli:
[SBLOCK]
"Well, I'm not going to call in friends. I would hope you've seen that by now. Frankly, I don't see why you don't want to let me heal you, but that is your choice. As for killing you, that is not the way to solve things, and even if it was, I can't do that now. Once I free you, if you then wish to take your own life, there will be nothing to stop you, but I urge you not to do so."
