i got a flood of fan mail all from the same guy. post cards galore. well ... the same one. over, and over, and over again.

that's my guess too.

they even capitalized Diaglo.... like 100 times.

Diaglo, it's time you knew just how much I admire you!

No, seriously, as knight_isa correctly conjectures, you're on the list because you checked the "I'd like to receive mail from WotC" box on your CRCs. Our mailing house is supposed to remove duplicates from the list, but apparently didn't in this case. We'll get it fixed, and hopefully next time you'll only get a few dozen copies. . . .

Probably because of all the different ways there are to spell diaglo/Diaglo/Diablo/DiODnD/...

Got one too. Don't remember sending in any response cards though. Probably got my name and address from all the Mythus stuff I sent to GDW back in the day.

A friend of mine got something in the mail because his wife filled out something on the WotC site. Maybe that's why some people got them that didn't fill out the cards? I dunno, but its a possibility perhaps.
