Just wanted to update this, I've finally managed to actually get plans drafted up for this, so that gamers everywhere can make their own.

Just also wanted to say you guys have been great, with yer letters of support and by blasting the table to all sorts of places.

Gamers rule, and I love being one.

No, I personally think he is right in calling his table the Ultimate Game Table. They other one, which I have seen before, is too isolating because of its height. I think the other table is the Penultimate Gaming Table.

They're both amazing tables, really. I like the Agyris one better, but because it seems to have a cooler/more fitting look to it. It's also sturdier and has more features.

The Twilight Avengers table? That's more doable, more practical, easier to make, less expensive... if I were to get a table, that'd be more likelly for me to get. It's amazingly cool and more sensible.

Going to have to agree. Shard's table is nice in and of itself, but the room makes it take the cake.

I suppose it's a matter of personal preference. I personally like the Agyris table more (it seems more worthwhile in terms of function and appearance), but Shard's table is easily the more practical and wallet-friendly of the two. But... the one thing that neither table does is separate the DM from the players (a thing that I've found greatly changes the paradigm of actual play for the better).

These are nice, but the table with the bottom-mounted projector...that's the Ultimate Gaming Table.

There's 4 that I know of.
Mine, Agryis, Ceiling mounted Projector, and the one built by the makers of the Worlds Largest Dungeon.

And personally I think they are all neat.
Each one offers different ideas, looks, and solutions.

I personally harbor no ill toward any of the other UGT's. This wasn't meant to be a competition, I just wanted to share with fellow gamers. To me they are all Ultimate Gaming Tables.
